you're watching 9 on your side at 11 there's no place like home and tonight a roselawn man will sleep well in his...thanks to some really good people. they are people working cooperatively. the name puts it plainly. these volunteers with the right know how...turn this roselawn home into one will thomas can get around in...whether on crutches or in his wheel chair.i would've never known that an agency that i was a fundraiser for in some years past and now i had to become a client for them to be able to stay in my home. thomas, once a pastor and cincinnati police chaplain developed an aggressive arthritis. he needed simple things like handrails...to stay here with his wife and two sons. sons. they've kept me in this

moving into a nursing home but i knew i wasn't ready for that. and thomas says this team of volunteers dedicated to helping homeowners who are seniors or disabled...went above and beyond. they replaced his furnace they found was leaking deadly carbon monoxide . they checked everything.they were out here working on one project and one of the workers said you know i notice that refrigerator is not sounding pretty good. i want to do some testing on that and they told us your refrigerator is about ready to go out and it's not energy efficient. we're going to get you a new refrigerator as well and i said there has to be a hidden camera somewhere. you know this is just unbelievable. thomas eternally grateful for everything. and even now the follow up calls to ask me how things are going. i mean you just don't get that in this day and age when everybody just does enough to get by. you need supplies to do repairs. tomorrow night-- oscar night-- is people
