tell us this deadly stabbing started as an argument between two people who knew each other. you'll see in this video...police investigating at the intersection of north arlington and north warren...just a block away from the bars and restaurants on brady street.the 32-year-old victim died before he could be taken to the hospital police say the investigation is on going we're going to stay on top of this story for you...live in milwaukee im jp cbs 58 three people are in the hospital ...including two teens in a stolen car ... a crash on milwaukee's northwest side. it happened yesterday morning at the corner of 76th and mill road.look at the wreckage.one car's front smashed in... another flipped.police say... the 18- and 19-year-olds ?sped through a stoplight... and slammed into an s-u-v... then another car.their car -- a ford escape -- was reported stolen in waukesha almosttwo weeks ago.witnesses called it the worst crash they've ever seen. "it was devastating to me.

"latrey hale" and "demetrius batchelor junior" were passengers in the back seat of a car that crashed into a tree near 35th and keefe. they died on scene. police say... the 17-year-old driver and the front seat passenger were taken to a hospital.they're expected to survive. this week.. potential jurors in kenosha county will receive a questionaire in the mail.. ahead of a trial for andrew obregon. he's the man who led law enforcement on a month-long manhunt last fall.

in the death of tywon anderson-- over a drug deal. he's also facing multiple felonies related to eluding police and stealing cars. according to the kenosha news... the defense and prosecution worked on the multiple-page questionaire in court on friday.it's the first step in picking a jury for the high-profile case. there are multiple questions about knowledge of the case and any past experience with obregon or his extended family. 200 jurors have two weeks to fill out the questionaire and return it. obregon's trial is slated tgi 3 hundreds gathered in chicago to mourn the loss of nykea aldridge... the cousin of dwyane wade who was shot to death while on a walk with her baby on friday. the vigil came as authorities denied bail for the accused shooters -- and released new details about what happened. sister held came from the "school sisters of st. francis" order in milwaukee. the women re nurses who served at a clinic in the poorest county in mississippi. friends say they were inseparable. all is quiet right now......but that will change later on this morning. students here at milwaukee excellence charter school will return back to class later this morning after their summer break.. many students of course will ride the school bus here, while others will walk.and after that summer break, it's dangerous for both students and drivers on the road.aaa says it's important for drivers to slow down and to stay alert.and parents need to talk with their children, especially those under 10 on how to stay safe. it's important parents explain to their children that they need to give themselves enough time to walk at a cautious pace to stop at every intersection, look at both ways, right left and right again. and then use crosswalks, don't cross midstre. midstreet. aaa says it's actually more dangerous in the afterschool hours than it is during the

?three o'clock? yesterday.the 38-year-old ?flashed smiles to the crowd? that had gathered to watch what was happening. he'll now undergo a ?mental evaluation? before charges are recommended.police say... his son was ?not? harmed. looking ahead--- the west allis man charged in a deadly highway shooting is due in ?sauk county court? today for a ?preliminary hearing.? zachary hays is accused of shooting at a car on i 90/94 in may... and killing a 44- year-old mother from illinois. he's also accused of ?shooting and killing? his neighbor in ?w case next month.today's hearing in sauk county focuses on the "homicide on the highway." 3 now to a developing story... d-n-a evidence will take center stage in the steven avery case. his lawyer has filed a motion to re-test dozens of pieces of evidence. evidence.avery was convicted of killing teresa halbach in 2007.the case made international headlines after the netflix series 'making a murder' premired in december of last year.now... attorney

experts from around the world are lined up... ready to conduct new tests. the defense plans to pay for it all.but attorney julius kim- who is not involved in avery's case- says before that happens.. the state gets to file a response.. and odds are there will be a hearing. 3 julius kim 00;48;56 i think there's some assumptions that are built in to her motion one of the assumptions is that the state's not going to challenge the reliability of this new testing to begin with. i think the state is going to take a close look at the testing that is being proposed at this point in time and say, reliable? zellner 13;33;07 we're gonna find out one way or another, was the evidence planted and were also going to be able to get test results that we belive will completely exonerate mr. avery. 3 attorney kim says.. assuming the d-n-a tests are granted- the next step depends on what the tests find.they could find nothing new...or they could provide evidence avery's attorney needs to file a motion for a new trial.

in trending topics this morning...a boy in green bay is hoping to help a local police officer heal.. after he lost his k-9 partner earlier this month. month.as officer ?derek wick-lund? grieves... the boy is raising money to ?get him a new dog.? the four-year-old companion ?died earli t after battling serious medical issues. seven-year-old "ethan engum" heard about it... and stepped in. the boy started a "go-fund-me page"... which helped him raise 520-dollars! he delivered the check to officer wick-lund over the weekend. when he decided to do this, it was a pleasant surprise given the difficult time our unit?s facing right now with the death of cops,? wicklund said. it's nice when we get to do things like this with ethan and his family. it kind of rejuvenates you a little bit
