12 and 15years old. and at least one of the inciden happened inside the church. he'll be in court today for his sentencing hearing. marquette university planto honor mother teresa with a ma on campus tomorrow. the mass will take place near a mother teresa outsste of schroeder complex.marquette honored mothteresa with the pere marquette discovery award more than 35 years ago. that's the university's highest honor. moher teresa will 10be canonized into inthood of the catholic church on on september 4th ... in rome outside of the vatican. a big-time arena may soon be in the works for the city of ra. racine.city officials say the 40 million dollar project would bring major sporting evts and conventions tthe area. area.cbs 58's julie parise is live at the propsed venue location this morning to tell us more. julie? this is where the mayor says a new hotel and arena would bring in big money and jobs. tonight, the mayor's office will meet with the county board to talk about putting a deal togethe make this

we're at the corner of gaslight drive and lakeavenue in racine.mayor johern dick tells us this is really about bring hotel here -- and ad the ana the al really adds to that. he says there's also a possibility of ging a hockey team here as well.the mayor says building this arena would bring it would also bring in big time concerts, sporting events and conventions that the city has never been able to host before being between milwaukee and chicago it affords us to hold great conventions at a cost thats lower than those 2 cities so we're on the lake we're centrally located this alws us the same way to build our city the me way milwaukee has done with their cy city this arena would have seating for thirty eight hundred people. the county board meeting is tonight at 5:30 at the county's es groves

an iowa couple is celebrating their ?fourth? child. but here's the kicker ... the baby arrived just three hours after mom learned she was expecting. stephanie hughes went to see her doctor friday morning because of cramps.she was quickly told that she was in labor... and to go to the hospital right away. a few hours later... ames unity hughes entered the world. ames's dad could not believe what happened. we begin with a developing story this morning...milwaukee police are searching for suspects.. after one man was killed and two other men were hurt in a triple shooting... ?during a funeral procession.? procession.?it happen yesterday on 22nd and keefe on milwaukee's north side.police say a 23-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. the two others- a 22 and 24 year old- are expected to be okay.a chaplain with the salvation army was consoling people on the scene. moore: they are already dealing with grief and this is just grief on top of grief. and i would hope and pray that people would understand the devastating affect that grief is having on people. i mean, it impacts them psychologically, emotionally,

old rodney sanders confessed to the crime... and faces two counts of capital murder.his motive is unclear at this point.now the nuns' fellow sisters are asking that sanders not face the death penatly if convicted. during yesterday's mass... the priest asked mourners to find it in their hearts to forgive. body was discovered about one month later.matthews was extradited from seattle, washington back to wisconsin.. almost two weeks ago. ago.her brother- derrik matthews- has also been charged in the murder. he's facing first degree intentional homicide. 3 w this morning---the family of a marine veteran who died from a ?toxic mix of drugs? at the v-a facility in tomah... has filed a wrongful death lawsuit? against the government. government.the family accuses v-a cagiversf ?improperly prescribinand giving drugs to who died in 20-14. they also say... the v-a ?failed to provide? him adequate emergency care... when he was found unresponsive ?and? failed to diagnose his "mental health" concerns and ?substance abuse? problems. (sim-cuh-ski's) ?wife? filed the lawsuit yesterday.the v-a's inspector general ruled last year... that "deficiencies in care"... led to (sim-cuh-ski's) death. one physician was ?fired.? 3 a 16 year old accused of stealing a car from a sturtevant dealership back in july... has been waived to adult court.

an exhibit opens at lambeau field tomorrow... honoring packers legend ?brett favre.? the exhibit features displays of his record 297 consecutive starts and 40 ?game-winning dri? drives.?fans can see the locker he used up until 2003 when lambeau field was renovated.the exhibit is open to anyone who buys a ticket to check out the "packers hall of fame." 3 and speaking of favre--- cbs is airing a special about th quarterback this weekend."a football life: brett favre" will air ?saturday? seven right here on cbs 58.... so be sure to tune in! an inauguration ceremony this morning... will celebrate milwaukee's new mexican consula. consulate. governor scott walker will be there... along with the mexican "foreign minister."walker lobbied congress for a consulate ?thr years ago?... and wisconsin beat out three states to get it. it finally opened in june. the consulate will help thousands of mexican nationals in the area with visas, i-d cards and other legal help. a big-time arena could be coming to the city of racine.
