3 our top story at 4:30... protesters in charlotte, north carolina are keeping up calls for justice... and demanding to see video of the deadly police shooting of keith scott. scott.demonstrators clashed with police for a ?third? night... shortly before a ?mandatory? curfew took effect. that curfew started at midnight.the mayor put it into . place.despite that... many protestors ?still? filled the streets.police decided they could ?continue their demosnstrations ?after? midnight.... as long as they remained ea capt. mike campagnacharlotte- mecklenburg police dept. "it's just not been necessary. it's been a very peaceful group tonight. there's been a lot of people inside the group that have been helping to make that happen, helping to just pull people away from the agressors and stand in between. this gentlemen here has been working with us very hard...and from the inside. their doing the lion's share of the work. that's what is helping this be peaceful. 3 yesterday scott's relatives got a chance to ?watch the video? that captured him being shot.they viewed it ?privately.?their attorney
whether scott was holding a weapon... as police claim he was. as demonstrators marched through charlotte for a third night.this time... protests were much more peaceful. peaceful.national guard troops ?were? called in to walk the streets.a group of protesters stopped to shake hands last night and thank them for their service. new this morning---police need your help... finding a ?missing milwaukee woman.?they say... she walked ?away from her home?.... and hasn't been seen since. this is 69-year-old "ruthie edwards."she was last seen around four p-m yesterday... near cambridge and believed she has ?dementia?.... so that's why there's so much concern.she's about five-five and 115 pounds. she has black/gray hair... and brown eyes.edwards was last seen wearing a ?black short- sleeve shirt with black and blue flowers?... and black pants.if you see her--- call milwaukee police at 414-935-74- 01 now to a developing story... a 53-year-old man is dead after a double shooting in milwaukee. milwaukee.just before six last night.. police were called to
and found two men.a 53-year-old man was taken to the hospital.. where he died.a 23-year-old was also shot... but is expected to be okay. police tell us they are investigating this as a homicide.no word yet on any suspects. 40 years in prison.that's the sentence for the man who led milwaukee county sheriff's deputies on a ?wild chase? after a shooting. here you can see the video... captured on dash cam in april. 23-year-old "matthew hardin"... led offficers on a high speed chase that ?ended? on i-43. investigators say... fo this.... hardin had shot his girlfriend ?and? a man he thought she was having an affair with.both survived. a cbs 58 exclusive now... greenfield police want your help-- finding three people who tried to steal a car sunday night. police say the group is also behind other car thefts in the area. they were caught on a security system outside a home on midland drive near 46th street. street.the video shows the suspects get in the car and bang on the dash... but when they can't get it started- they take off.police believe
also stolen. sgt. chris deglopper, greenfield police dept. 00;17;40 as we've seen, these individuals that are out here stealing cars, especially the younger individuals, i don't really think they take in to consideration the severity of the crime. and in most cases these individuals are partaking in other crimies as well. 00;17;58 00;17;58 anyone with information is asked to contact greenfield police. the man charged with ?shooting and killing his girlfriend's son? in brown deer... is due in court today for a year-old "jessie james" was first arguing with the victim's mom.that's when james told her 21-year old son to ?shut up and stop talking back.?the victim then went to his room and put on loud music. that's when james told police.... he got so angry... he loaded his shotgun and shot and killed the man.james is charged with "first degree reckless homicide." help is on the way for people trying to stop the violence in milwaukee.... thanks to a five million dollar grant. the federal grant is for communities that have seen

cbs 58 news time is ?????.this is a ?live? look at ??????. an elkhorn girl with a big heart is helping out k-9's in racine. cbs 58's april dovorany tells us how she's making sure those officers get home each night. 3 when she was in maddie kleist saw a poster for wisconsin vested dog-a group that gets protective vests for police k9s. she knew she wanted to donate-and four years later-her dream was realized. 1818 like officers say. i want to get home every night and see my family. thats what i wanted for this dog too.this dog is k-9 titannatsnow proudly wearing a k-9 protective vest thanks to maddie kliest. his handler.officer dave arvai says-its an integral part of titan's safetyas the k9 team is usually called in when

"todd karpinski" of menomonee falls.... lost his wife "julie" to breast cancer just last year.she was a mother of two young boys... an at concordia... and a pharmacist at froedtert.she also ?volunteered? for the "susan g. komen foundation." julie understood the importance of giving back... ?and? working to find a cure. the family walked in the race for ?years? before she died. they'll walk ?this year? too.... in memory of julie. 45:23 "there's not a day that passes that we don't think about mom, but this year, will be more of a celebration of her life and all the greatness
