found the 76 year old man dead... and his wife still alive... she later died at the hospital.police say they got a 911 call around 6-30 this morning. capt. mike glidernew berlin pd "there was a male caller who did not identify himself and gave this address said that help was needed here. the dispatcher asked him for more details... and he just repeated help was needed here and that's all he said." a neighbor says the couple didn't have kids... but had do family.police say all of the animals inside the house are okay.live in new berlin... david ade... cbs 58 news. 3 milwaukee police are looking for the gunman who shot a man in the city's riverwest neighborhood last night. the 36-year-old suffered non life-threatening injuries when he was approached by the suspect and shot near center and pierce. detectives are trying to figure out what led

cbs 58....a family is desperate for answers after a sister and daughter ?mysteriously died? at the milwaukee county jail. jail.'leon limon' says his 38-year-old sister 'kristina fiebrink' died in the jail in august.now, three months later, his family still has no idea what happened. the jail has offered no details on fiebrink's death...nor has it provided information on the deaths of michael madden or the newborn of shade swayzer. one inmate who was u sister was in pain. limon says he wants answers. somebody sent it to my facebook and they said somebody let this girl die in jail and it was my sister and someone posted another one and said if someone had responded to her medical needs she would still be here so far this year there have been four deaths at the milwaukee county jail, compared with none over the

court-appointed jail monitor says he has not received complete reports on any of those deaths. 3 new at noon, an unusual occurance...two separate rollover crashes in the same location an hour apart. this photo was taken by one of our cbs 58 crews a couple hours ago. a vehicle that looks like a pick up truck rolled and wound up on its roof on eastbound 94 near hawley road. we're told that everyone inside that vehicle got out safely. and within the last hour we got word of a second rollover accident, in almost the same from one of our crews....again, a car on its roof near hawley road on i-94. we don't know why this is happening, but obviously, you may want to be careful if you're driving in the area. of course the wednesday before thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year. this is a live look at the local freeway system where the roads are wet and traffic

49-million americans will travel 50 miles or more from home this holiday weekend...a million more than last thanksgiving. cbs 58's kyle aeverman joins us live from the d-o-t traffic operations center in milwaukee with a look at what's being to done to keep you safe on the roads..kyle? this is the command center. it's staffed 24/7. 365 days a year and they are monitoring more than 400 cameras across the state. staff here look at those conditions, travel speeds and travel times.they also look for any incidents or accidents on the roadways..in an effort to clear them and alert other drivers of road conditions. they are able to update the electronic signs across the state almost instantly.it's a lot of work, but because of partnerships with state patrols and other law enforcement, they are able to keep up with what is happening. gina paige/communications manager; buearu of traffic opeations"you can hear them on the radio and through our inner cad, which is a computer

we are following breaking news: donald trump has just announced he will nominate betsy de-voss... for secretary of education.de-voss is from michigan and thought to be a big proponent of schools. 3 earlier today trump announced that south carolina governor nikki haley is his choice for u-s ambassador to the united na. nations. in his statement, the president-elect praised what he called haley's "proven track record of bringing people together". during the presidential campaign, haley endorsed marco rubio and criticized donald trump. today in her own statement, haley said she was "honored" by the appointment. 3 the investigation into this week's deadly school bus crash

bus and the actions of the driver, john'-thony walker. 5 children were killed when the bus rolled over, and 12-others were injured. police say walker was traveling well over the 30-mile per hour speed limit when the bus crashed. walker's mother says she talked to her son shortly after the crash and he said quote, "mom, there are kids dead. i hope it's not my fault." 3 "here's our turkey right here. so, its going to be in a pouch. we'll heat this up and it will taste really good just like you're a thanksgiving message today from the international space station. american astronaut steve kimbrough gave us an idea of how the crew will celebrate. he's up there with another american, plus three russian cosmonauts and a french crew member. they're new to thanksgiving, but they plan to enjoy it all the same. kimbrough says mission control will even send up some live football games to complete the experience. it wasn't thunder that ecohed across the milwaukee area during the past hour. it was the sound fighter jets taking

international airport. cbs 58's julie parise has more on the iconic blue angels visit to milwaukee. 3 just moments ago we watched an f-18 take off from the 128th air refueling wing.((nat pop of take off)) off))the blue angels stopped in milwaukee to give people a taste of what they can expect when they return to the milwaukee air show next year. the aerobatic demonstration team does a lot of public appearances like this. part of their role within the military, but these f-18s require years of training to fly -- and the aircraft is serious business. ((take sot)) lt david steppe steppehey are combat proven highly sophisticated and really good at what they do. both air to air and air to ground missions all over the world.((tag)) ((tag))the pilots took off from here and flew back to their training facility in pensacola florida. the air show returns to milwaukee next july.on the 128th air
