aevermann joins us live from metro market in brookfield... where doors will open any minute!hi kyle! all is quiet right now, but that will likely all change in about an hour when the store opens.those who still have yet to pick up those last minute items will be rushing to stores like this one to get those ingredients. so what are the top 5 items people have forgotten for thanksgiving?well according to a list put out my meijer they are mushroom soup, celery, butter and sweet potatoes.they looked at sales on thanksgiving day and their history to come up with that list.here at metro market though, it's been all hands on deck. we try to repare 2 3 weeks in advance for the holidays. to make sure everyone gets ready for it. we usually do store meetings just get everyone on the same page of what we are going to do. most departments come in earlier, the bakers are here overnight,

so what do the customers have to say? we'll hear from some of them coming up in our next half hour. live in brookfield. kyle aevermann. cbs 58 news. 3 in other news this morning... former presidential candidate jill stein's campaign says they've raised enough money to fund a presidential election recount in wisconsin. they've raised more than two million dollars which covers wisconsin's filing are now focusing on fundraising efforts for recounts in michigan and pennsylvania.the campaign website says they cannot guarantee a recount happens...only that they can now demand one. 3 this recount push comes after computer scientists at the university of michigan urged hillary clinton to seek a recount in wisconsin, michigan and pennsylvania.yesterday in milwaukee, the group "ignite my cause' rallied for a handcount of wisconsin's votes. "ignite my cause" believes technology used to count votes could have been hacked... and want to make sure the number

that's where cbs 58's julie parise is live this morning. julie? for the fifth year in a row, wisconsin families in need of some extra help will benefit from the race here at the ball park today. the drum stick dash is a 5k race, and it kicks off here in just a few hours. the 3 mile run or walk raises money for feeding america eastern wisconsin.each dollar donated can provide three meals to a person in need. over the last four years, the race has donated overon hundred thousand meals for families over the holiday season. there will also be an opportunity for food drop off and donations at the race today even for those who don't run. if you want to register to run or walk here today you still can -- packet pick up starts at 7 am. it's 40 dollars for adults and 25 dollars for kids. kids under

as families across the u-s celebrate thanksgiving... ...one community is mourning the death of yet another child after this week's school bus crash in tennessee. tennessee.police say a sixth child has died from their injuries in monday's crash. the news comes as police release more information about the bus driver and the investigation.reid binion reports. 3
