he tweeted that if the un finds he lost his case against the united kingdom then he will turn himself in to police at noon. he had been holed up inside an embassy in london for the past three years. he took refuge to avoid extradition to sweden where two women accused him a sexual assault. council are going to get an update on the bike citations. it stems from an investigation that revealed 79% of the agency's bike tickets are given to african-americans. the tampa city council will also get an update on how the red light camera program is working. the police department will share new statistics on the number of tickets issued and the fines collected. the tampa man arrested for

is expected in court today. michael ramos has a detention hearing set for 4:30 p.m.. federal investigators found the explosives, a pistol and ammunition. new this morning, a hillsborough county deputy is recovering after a crash. this all happened at gun highway and anderson road. look at damage there. investigators aren't releasing many details but it appears the deputy's cruiser suffered damage to the rear bumper. you can see the other car damaged. there paramedics transported one person to the hospital. we don't know that person's condition at this point. as for the deputy, investigators believe he will be okay. pinellas county deputies are investigating a deadly pedestrian crash. this happened in gulfport near beach boulevards. and killed. deputies report lewis was crossing the street at the time but was not in a crosswalk. they do not believe that speed or impairment is to blame. investigation. while florida fights to get a

the rain chances go up and temperatures stay steady. 40% chances for rain. 8, 9, 10:00. 60% through midday. 70% rain chance and heavier downpours at 2, 3, 4:00 today. after that, the cold front starts sinking to the south. the rain chances start going down and so do the temperatures. how much rain could you see? thankfully i'm not expecting a whole lot between nine and 10 a.m.. maybe a quarter inch. that is the green area and in the northern spots. we'll see first, you may get heavier downpours. the further south you go, the lighter the rain will be from a quarter inch to a half inch. that will come later in the day for you. go ahead and get the training run for the gasparilla classic out of the way this morning when it will be mostly dry. . only areas of heavier rain and few strong storms thank goodness but the clouds clear out tonight and that is when it gets colder.

. this morning, did senator ted cruz commit voter fraud in iowa? >> donald trump insists cruz cheated and he wants a do over. news channel 8's lindsey mastis joins us live with the morning alert. pretty serious allegations here.

after trump found out he congratulated cruz and tweeted his experience in iowa is great but now is changing his tune completely accusing senator cruz of stealing the election. he has been on twitter nonstop and insists what he did was criminal. senator cruz's campaign apologized to dr. ben carson for telling voters in iowa carson planned to quit the race. they claim they got the frort cnn. the new network claimed it reported that carson would not go to new hampshire or south carolina but he would remain in the race. here is dr. ben carson's tweet about all of this. he calls it shameless tactics. dirty political plays and links to an article that makes it clear he is not happy with senator cruz and trump is bringing this back up and in addition, accusing the senator of more dirty politics. look at this. this is his latest tweet showing what he insists is a voter

a fraternity at the university of tampa is organizing a water drive called tampa to flint. they hope to gather bottled water and other supplies to send to flint. they will collect the supplies 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. outside the university of the business school. it is a blame game when it comes to who is responsible for the water crisis in flint. at a congression yam hearing, emotions ran high. an environmental official blames michigan officials for ignoring advice to treat water. they accuse the epa of not taking this problem seriously and getting involved way too late. time is 5:16. happening today, a tasty and entertaining annual florida tradition kicks off. >> but especially tasty. in a few hours, the florida state fair will open for businesses in hillsborough county.

you have a lot of foods too. >> the dough nut burger, the southern belt burger, the double barrel which is a double dough nut burger with mac and cheese on top. we had a contest to keep or bring back and we brought the red neck burger. we were going to drop it. >> you can't drop the red neck burger at the fair. >> i love the fried bologna and baked beans on it. >> another thing i need to show you this is a funnel cake pizza, by a group called the best around. we have pepperoni, cheese here, funnel cake, oh, my goodness. it tastes like pizza. it is not sweet at august so this is something you have to try if you come out to the fair and i don't know if this will stay warm otherwise i would put it in the truck and bring it back for your guys. >> you know what else they have? plenty of bathrooms.
