the overpass near overpass road. it is now back open. and right now, a stretch of i-275 northbound in tampa is closed. there's construction along the northbound lanes that run from lois avenue to arraignia. and they're expected to re-open in about an hour and a half. >> the good news, i-75 is back open. right now, trouble spot here. and you saw the back-up. overnight construction. it's going to last for the next hour and a half. and this is northbound 275 at lois avenue. exit kennedy and you won't get stuck in the back-up. and you have to come down on kennedy because it's closed from lois over to armenia and you can come back up on howard or continue into downtown, depending on where you're headed. let's take a quick look. and you can see before you get to lois, they start pushing you off here.
and it's off the howard franklin bridge. so hopefully the weather is better for us. unfortunately not. you will want to hold on to the wheel with both hands. we have a high wind warning. extremely gusty winds out there. even on non-elevated area, you may have to hold on tightly. it's all behind this cold front. and don't go out on the water. there's a gayle warning offshore. lake wind advisory and a rip current risk as well. so this is the wind speed right now, out of the northwest from 15 to 20 miles per hour sustained winds but gusting up near 30 to 35 miles per hour. so please, be careful out there. there may even be a couple of areas with sprinkles between now and about noon. as the day goes on, i think we
stay tuned to weather and traffic on the 8s at 4:08. >> all right. thank you. developing northerning, the man accused of attacking a 6- year-old girl at a mall bathroom in clearwater is in jail. he is 18 years old. >> police arrested rickey thompson. today he is expected to face a judge. paul mueller shows us how police caught their suspect. >> reporter: good morning. police got a lot of tips and one really panning out. police calling this guy and he actually came down here to answer questions and then this is where he wound up, in jail. >> it was an accident. that he went into the wrong restroom. >> reporter: yes, you heard right. that's when 18-year-old rick coy thompson told the cops. >> i'm not sure when he realized he was in the women's restroom. >> reporter: the 6-year-old girl realized, screaming do the top of her lungs here at the the macy's bathroom friday night. >> she panicked and screamed at

seems like day by day, gas prices just keep dropping. the average price for a gallon of regular gas is down to $1.74. the cheapest since 2009. the lowest prices in the nation are in oklahoma city, gas there is at $1.11 a gallon. analysts believe prices will stay low unless there's a major disruption in supply. tampa just made another best cities list. they named the best cities for
