investigators are trying to solve a murder mystery in hillsborough county after a woman's body was found in a ditch. >> reporter: investigators with the hillsboro county sheriffs office have not released an official cause of death just yet but they tell us the victim suffered blunt force trauma wounds to her upper body. here's a picture of that victim. evilly hd for ohio the crime body was discovered in a ditch by person riding on horseback. neighbors told us they didn't know the victim, but she is no to the sheriffs office. regardless of how she lived her life, neighbor say he didn't have to end this way. >> nobody deserves that. >> just sympathy and empathy. i have lost family members in the past but not anything like this. we did reach out to the

8 on your side is looking into missing or perhaps: items from our schools. hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment is lawsuit taken from bay area districts each and every year. ultimately cost the taxpayer -- taxpayers . we're live in hillsborough county were of taken from. common items that are stolen or misplaced of things like black -- things like laptops or computers but at the school a piece of equipment was swept from the property. we want to district leaders to find out how they tried to prevent this type of thing from ever happening again. in schools all over the bay area items like laptop computers, musical instruments

a murder mystery in hillsboro county. a 26-year-old woman found brutally murdered on the side of the road. people who live in the neighborhood are scared about what might happen next. newschannel 8's mary mcguire joins us now live from the sheriff's office. so mary, do investigators have any leads? >> reporter: detectives tell us they are following up on some leads this morning, but that is who live in the area where this all happens. that means the killer is still on the loose. this is a picture of the victim in this case, 26-year-old everyone lynwood ham of tampa. elite hd flew high above the crime scene on tuesday afternoon. wood ham's body was discovered in a ditch by a person riding on horseback there. people who live on the block where this happened are left with more questions than

two iowa police officers are shot and killed in an ambush. officer justin martin was found, shot to death, in his squad car outside of des moines. 20 minutes later sergeant tony became was found shot in his squad car two miles away. scott michael green has been arrested. green did have a recent run in with officers at a high school football game where he held a confederate flag during national anthem. angry students clashed with police outside a u.s. senate debate that included former kkk leader dave duke. this happened at a historically black university in new orleans. protesters were trying to get inside the debait hall. police used pepper spray to calm the crowds. duke is one of telecandidates who participated in that debate last night. the search is on this
