the 60s into the 50s overnight. the satellite loose shows there skies across the area. models show that temperatures will fall into the 50s and 40s overnight. especially over inland areas. tomorrow, into the 60s and 70s. a warm-up begins after that. a plantation father out of jail is now speaking about his son who's been missing for two months. argue jurgensen banished in december after his father kicked him out of his car. bruce jurgensen is telling us his side of the story. >> reporter: jurgensen took aim at some of the allegations against him. he said he was not on a one-way plane ticket out of town while his son was missing. he said he is an attorney and he was required to be at a court hearing out of the country or he faced possible arrest. he reached out to the media and police to help find his son but

he said he wants his son home. he said he is desperate to find his six-year-old son. he said he and his son had an argument over his grades in late december and he kicked his son out of the car and told the boy to walk to their home. police say he did not. he remained missing. i asked jurgensen why he did not go to the police right away when his son disappeared. >> i know what works best and i know it doesn't. i know the fears that my son has and doesn't. >> reporter: he said his son has run away before and would not respond to a police officer. jurgensen said he used private security to find his son in the past. i also asked why he kicked his son out of his car when he knew the boy had a history of running away. >> i was not concerned because from my standpoint it was a thing of the past. >> reporter: jurgensen chalks up is disappeared to his son being a headstrong 16-year-old who had trouble with his grades at american heritage school.

as you can see, traffic is moving. part of the highway shut down for most of today as crews scrambled to fix a steel joint that split the road into. lots of drivers got flat tires. it is not clear why this happened. the 836 and i 3952 miami and into miami beach back open as normal tonight. >> and there is no one who is better prepared to provide america with the strong leadership that it needs both at home and around the world. >> chris christie catching everyone by surprise when he endorsed donald trump for president. they appeared side-by-side and an event in fort worth, texas. marco rubio was not far away in dallas taking aim at trump with super tuesday in the florida primary around the corner.

tonight, south florida has two more cases of the zika virus. the state surgeon general said there was one more case in broward and one more and miami- dade. that makes 14 in miami-dade and five in broward county. of the 37 cases statewide, only for patients are exhibiting symptoms. encouraging news about a six- year-old boy hit by a car in miami. antoine had more believes that we could count as he was released from the hospital. he is wearing a body cast and has a lot of recovery ahead of him but he was smiling as you can see. the point was riding a scooter when he was hit by a miami police cruiser. we spoke with his mother outside the hospital. >> he's good. he's staying positive.
