welcome back. the time now is 8:30 am. deputies are looking for people connected to a cockfighting ring . deputies seized dozens of birds and some alive and some debt. investigators seized weights,

a crowd gathered at that cockfighting ring as a deputies arrived. we are waiting to learn more about who shot and killed a virginia police officer on a first -- day on the job. it all happened during a domestic related incident. the officer ashley gwenden was shot and killed. two other officers were wounded. quentin was just sworn in on friday. investigators found the woman killed in connection with that incident. one person is in custody but that person has not been named. a spacex rocket set to blast off at 6:46 pm tonight carrying a communications satellite into orbit. the company hopes to land the rocket on adrone ship in the atlantic ocean. it is a feat that has ended in explosive failures four times before. the company has been trying to pull this mission off since wednesday.
