town as we get slammed by winter storm jonas...the interstates largely quiet throughout the day...road crews were out plowing...and pouring sand onto the highways...really key in minimizing the number of incidents on this stretch of i-26. but here's a look at the spartanburg unty emergency management command center... this is downtown...director doug bryson took me in there today...he says the upstate seems to have learned their lesson...from winter storms past. 3 3 3 i think you know we experience these events a couple times every winter now and every time now people are listening to the warnings you know from the media from us, to please stay off the roads you know businesses schools you know government offices everybody closed well in advance.
