candidates--head to fox carolina dot com. 3 3 covering our counties:haywood county deputies say they need your help finding a missing person. 3 the sheriff's office says "jeffery scott turner" was last seen at work around 10 monday morning and hasn't been seen or heard from since. deputies say they believe turner is driving a black 19- 87 toyota pickup truck -- similar to the one you see here --with north carolina tag number zsl-1573.if you know where he may be -- you're asked to call the haywood county sheriff's office. 3 in greenville county-- city leaders are warning people of a scam targeting water customers. customers.greenville water say the scammers say they are with the water company. 3 the scammers call and tell customers they're late on payments... and must pay over the phone or risk having their service disconnected. disconnected.the company says they will never ask for personal or financial information over the phone. phone.and sometimes the scammers call on weekends which greenville water says they'd never do. do.if you receive a call like this--- contact law

last week,she was found wandering around townville suffering from a gunshot and starving.deputies now tell us they were able to locate amara's owner who told them he tried to put the dog down himself because she was aggressive.the owner said he didn't realize she survived until seeing her on the news. the sheriff's office says they took the case to a magistrate, who determined that no criminal charges would be issued.anderson county paws wants pet owners to know there 3 3 3 3 "we have many different adopter that are looking for an older pet or a new puppy, we have a lot of different variety that people are looking for to adopt and to actually help out in the community." community."paws tells us they offer a humane method of euthanasia for 10 dollars. also, they say if you have an aggressive animal - it may be better to call local law enforcement instead of taking things into your own hands. amara--by the way is

3 welcome back to the morning news on fox carolina---we're taking a live look at...clemson 3 leaders in ferguson, missouri are asking the u-s justice department for several **changes to a proposal to improve the police force. force.the city council agreed to a list of reforms from the justice department but say costs need to be limited.when the changes were announced tuesday, a packed house started chanting in protest. city finance workers say if their requests for changes are not met, the federal proposal will bankrupt the city. 3 city leaders in flint michigan could face criminal charges for allowing the water supply to be contaminated.prosecutors say involuntary manslaughter charges could be brought to the table if government leaders were found "grossly negligent".but they cautioned a switch in the city's water supply could have been an honest mistake.governor rick snyder is proposing more than
