western iowa technical community college still doesn't know whether it will or won't host a one- on-one debate between republican frontrunners donald trump and ted cruz. cruz proposed the idea earlier this week on his website. now staff are getting ready either way. they're setting the room with 500 chairs... officials say when cruz booked staff made no mention of the debate with trump. now they're worried that if trump agrees, there won't be enough space. "from the college point of view the sheer numbers are what we think would be an issue if there truly was going to be a debate. because having 500 seats available i would think that a debate between cruz and trump would certainly draw more than 500 individuals." the debate would take place tomorrow night in sioux city. it would last one hour, and the two would have to agree on a moderator. no spot in iowa has enjoyed more of the caucus spotlight than

one of the areas that i've been particularly interested in is the area of children. all of us have a responsibility, to ourselves, to our children,

we intend to be sure that everybody in this room and every child in this state is somebody. no matter where they're born, no matter to whom they are born. our children's future is shaped both by the values of their parents and the policies of their nation. it's time to protect the next generation, fill the lives of our children with possibility and hope, open up the doors so that every child has a chance to live up to his or her god-given potential. i've spent my life fighting for children, families and our country, and i'm not stopping now. (crowd cheers) i'm hillary clinton, and i have always approved this message. he was rated a+ by the nra. not for his promises, but for defending the second amendment... he's a man of deep faith, who fought time and again

the 44th annual iowa pork congress had its last day in des moines. earlier this week, they hosted a meeting, which looked at voting on a resolution that checked out other venues for the congress to move to. the reasoning was because of a pending water quality lawsuit from the des moines water works. leaving des moines would be a show of disapproval; however, because of a confusion of whether the city or water works board is in control of the lawsuit, there was an amendment that asked the pork board to investigate changing the venue. a committee would be set up to look at
