evacuated our mike desumma has been in parts of the county all day today. he joins us now from mower street wit more. samantha, charles this stretch of the street is one of several roads that had to be closed off because of the rain. the reason is scotts creek runs right under it. there are homes that sit along the creek on wheeler road --- and those are the ones where we were told some residents had to leave today because of the rain. flooding also was seen on

not see a lot of new stores and benjamin says the first fans to take in a baseball game at bull street's spirit communications park may not see a lot of new stores and kuenzie today. charles, as we've mentioned a number of times over the past few weeks, the development underway at the former state hospital property is now being referred to as "the commons at bull street." that name replaces "bullstreet common" which had been the title for a project known earlier in the year as "columbia common." so commons at bull street is what the mayor and retail developers are calling it. as for which retailers will locate there, the mayor was again tight-lipped today---saying only that the list has grown beyond the 41 said to be interested more than a year ago. mayor benjamin says much of the retail and residential development or parking garages around the ballpark won't be ready by the time the columbia fireflies take the field in april. i asked him again when we can

specifics on the stores and restaurants coming to the commons at bull street. it's so important that we understand that the city has no role in rolling out retail announcements. that's not our responsibility and i think us trying to take that responsibility could do damage to the project. it's purely up to those retailers and/or the developer to make those announcements at the appropriate time. the mayor says he has seen some preliminary information on the stores and restaurants and says he believes people will be "incredibly excited" when the names emerge. but there are indications now that we might have to wait months more to find out what he and the retail recruiting experts are talking about. jack kuenzie wis news ten. less than a day away from the orange bowl, the clemson tigers are having to make some adjustments three team members have been suspended for allegedly failing a drug test.

the road with the team and join us from sun life stadium. the tigers will play one of the most important games in program history tomorrow without three key players. head coach dabo swinney confirmed today that wide receiver deon cain, tight end jay jay mccullough and kicker ammon lakip are suspended from the orange bowl for violating team rules. the biggest loss is cain. the freshman has evolved as one of clemson's best deep threat receivers. cain was the backup to charone peake. swinney says peake will probably play more snaps tomorrow against oklahoma. swinney says the suspensions are not a distraction for the team.
