breaking news now. a violent attack on milwaukee's east side. a man was stabbed to death near arlington and pulaski. and police are now searching for the suspect. julie collins joins us live with details. just hours ago police were here investigating that death near north it was around 12-40 this morning when the call came in. it was around 12-40 this morning when the call came in. shortly there after police arrived and barricaded the area with yellow and red police tape. several police and investigators were out here this morning to investigate. milwaukee police say police say an argument between two people that knew each other lead to the stabbing. and despite life

milwaukee police and fire fighters -- a 32 year old milwaukee man died on the scene. the suspect in this stabbing fled the scene and milwaukee police are currently looking for him. that's the very latest from milwaukee's east side -- julie collins. fox 6 news. meanwhile-- milwaukee police have tracked down one of the suspected looters during the unrest. they say 27-year-old darius saxton was at the o'reilly auto parts store, metro p-c-s and jet beauty. according to court documents-- he deni stores with the exception of lingerie. he faces three counts of burglary. es 'hopefully, people dont view this as a negative and they rebuild those businesses.' there's a bright spot coming out of sherman park... dozens came together for a surprise 80-th birthday party honoring 'lester staples junior' yesterday... staples is co-owner of 'staple brothers hardware,' located at 35-th and

right now with a high near 82. when we might see some more rain and a chance of storms coming up. a chicago-area rapper speaking out after he says someone robbed him and held him at gunpoint. but he says he is more upset by how the police treated him after the incident. che "rhyme-fest" smith drove to the police station after he say stole his wallet.he says it took about 30 minutes though before police actually took his report.. rhymefest took video of his treatment at the police station...and posted what happened on twitter. a police spokesperson reached out to rhymefest on twitter -- apologizing for the officers actions...and saying the incident will be addressed. latin american music icon juan gabriel has died. a county coroner says he passed away from natural causes in santa monica, california. gabriel, whose legal name was alberto aguilera valadez, sold more than a- hundred-million records career. gabriel was considered one of the greatest performers and composers in mexico. his career spanned styles from pop to bolero to regional mexican. the musician was 66-years-old. and olympic gymnastics star gabby douglas resting after being hospitalized for an infection. the 20-year-old has been fighting an ongoing mouth injury that led to a serious infection. according to her publicist -- douglas was admitted to the hospital sunday evening after experiencing swelling and adverse reactions to

and "resting comfortably." she was forced to miss an appearance in new york at the m-t-v video music awards alongside her u-s olympic teammates. u-s senator ron johnson sparks controversy by saying college professors could be replaced by documentaries normally found on pbs-- causing johnson and democrat russ feingold to spar over college costs over the past week. political reporter theo keith says johnson isn't backing down from his comments. senator ron johnson skewered by democrats for suggesting that ken burns' civil war videos would do a better job teaching students than history teachers. "i think that is an absurd way of talking about this issue burns himself tweeted, i'm here to support teachers' not replace them.this week, johnson explained. you dont need individual professors for everything - when you find an excellent professor, put them on videotape, and let that person be the lecturer for a host of other individuals.

other professors, go off of that an expand on that johnson is making "professor pay" an issue against his democratic opponent, russ feingold... hes part of the problem feingold earned 150-thousand dollars as a stanford university professor in 2015. republicans have dressed up as the stanford mascot, a tree, to mock him. i dont know how long those lectures were. an hour? 8,000 per hour? maybe it was 2 hours. 4,000 an hour? it just gives you an indication of why college is so unbelievably expensive fox6 asked feing taken less money at stanford -- which is a private, not public, school. he didn't directly answer. this issue is about student loans and the fact that there is a terrible problem with people being in debt the most recent marquette poll showed feingold leading johnson by 11 points among people who say they're voting in november, and by 5 points among all registered voters. in the newsroom, theo keith fox 6 news.

at the start of the weekend series with the pirates, the brewers were 64-17 against them at miller park since 2007. so the crew looked to be in a good position to keep their winning ways going. but the pirates had other ideas, winning the 1st 3 games of the series and going for the sweep sunday. the brewers, however, get things going in the 3rd inning when jonathan villar gets a hold of one and sends it out over the wall in center giving them a 1-0 lead. but that's the only run they'd score and the pirates would take the lead in the 6th, after john jaso
