traffic map = major delays yellow on traffic map = some delays green on traffic map = no delays breaking news this morning -- two iowa police officers are dead following what is being called an "ambush-style attack." angelica joins us live from the newsroom with the latest morning with a shots fired call. des moines police say an officer responding to the call found an urbandale police officer suffering from a gunshot wound. and then 20 minutes later...about two miles away.... a des moines officer was found shot. both officers died. multiple departments are searching for the shooter or shooters. officials are expected to release more information shortly in a news conference. we'll be sure to bring you updates as

people under arrest after leading police on a high speed chase on i-43. police say the car was taken in an armed robbery. the car crashed into the ditch just south of brown deer road. one adult man...and two juvenile females were taken into custody at the scene. there were no injuries...and no other vehicles were involved. and in racine county -- one person is dead after a motorcycle accident. it happened in the town of raymond. someone called 9-1-1 after coming across a motorcycle that appeared to have hit a mailbox and a tree. th authorities believe the crash happened hours before the 9-1-1 call reporting the accident. the cause is still under investigation..but speed and alcohol do not appear to a factor. with less than a week to go until the presidential election..we'll find out where the candidates stand in wisconsin the final marquette law school poll comes out today deandra corinthios is live from marquette's campus with more. we know that nationally...hillary clinton is still the favorite...despite new information about potentially more damaging emails

making a hard push to get ahead in the badger state...speaking directly to wisconsin democrats. donald trump was at u-w eau claire on tuesday. he was introduced by governor scott walker. the republican presidential nominee urged early voters in wisconsin...to recall their ballots...and change their vote for him. meanwhile...democratic vice presidential nominee tim kaine was also in appleton and in madison. tim kaine told the crowd of hundreds at lawrence university that wisconsin is a key state and voting, especially early voting is vital to hillary clinton's victory. if we win wisconsin it is difficult, very difficult for the other side to win this race " wisconsin is one of several states where you can change your early ballot if you think youve made a mistake. a lot of stuff has come out since you voted! 11:18 there was this van speeding up. he didnt stop for the light or anything. i was right in the intersection and he had to swerve or i probably wouldve lost my life today. we are told at least two vehicles were hit by the suspect. no one was seriously injured. the suspect eventually made a stop to buy cigarettes at a hartford gas station. he tried running from police, but was eventually arrested. you're taking a live look at where crews will be harvesting tree. it will cause some traffic tie ups as it makes its way to city hall. east wells between water and broadway will be closed to most traffic from seven until noon. this is video from last year's tree cutting. this year's tree-- a 38-foot colorado blue spruce-- will be chopped down starting around 6:30 this morning... and we'll have live reports

75 potential jurors. the circuit judge says the jury will be seated today. if convicted slager, faces 30 years to life. and in ohio -- testimony is set to begin in the murder trial of a police officer who shot a man during a traffic stop in 2015. ray tensing shot and killed sam dubose, who was pulled over for a missing license plate. tensing says he feared for his life after he claims he was almost run over. expert witnesses are expected to talk about ofic after the prosecution and defense offered conflicting interpretations about what it will tell jurors about the case. bill cosby is expected back in court today for day two of a pre-trial hearing. cosby faces three felony charges in pennsylvania stemming from an incident involving an employee at temple university. his lawyers are trying to keep out the testimony he gave in the woman's sexual battery and defamation lawsuit. prosecutors reopened the criminal case last year after the deposition was unsealed and more

we continue to follow breaking news out of iowa... we know now two police officers who were shot and killed... were both seated in their vehicles when they were shot. one was a des moines officer, the other was a urbandale officer. officials say it appears to be an ambush style attack. the officers were found in two different locations. multipl now searching for the shooter or shooters. we'll continue to keep you updated as we learn more information. we learn more information. for the first time in more than two years...iraqi troops have entered the outskirts of mosul...which has been in the hands of islamic state militants. an iraqi special forces general says the troops are holding their positions at this time due to poor weather conditions...and no advances are planned for today. the fight for

is expected to involve house-to-house fighting in urban areas. aid agencies are warning though that the lives of more than one million civilians are in danger as the troops advance. and new developments this morning regarding malaysia airlines flight m-h 370. officials in australia released a report which suggests no one was controlling the plane when it plunged into the ocean...and that the plane was spiraling in its final moments. the plane was en route to beijing from kuala lumpur when it disappeared back in 20-14. a total of 239 people were a deadly pipeline blast is now sparking fears of potential gas shortages and price hikes at the pump in the southeast. officials say it appears a piece of construction equipment hit the pipeline and triggered the blast...killing one worker and injuring five others the explosion has now shut down what is a major gasoline supply line to millions of people across the southeast. this deadly incident is the second to shut down this pipeline in just two months. a leak in september led
