state has appealed that ruling. the state filed an emergency appeal to keep him behind bars in a higher court. prosecuters argue dassey should stay in prison until his case is resolved in court...and the lower court did not have the authority to order dassey's release and by doing so would cause irreparable harm to the case. dassey's attorney argues the state has not made a case to keep him locked up. a judge has ordered dassey be released no later than 8 p-m tomorrow -- unless the 7th circuit of appeals rules otherwise. you can read o order of judge duffin -- when you visit fox6 now dot com or the fox6 news app. the story's on our home page. also -- search "avery archive" to check out developments in this story going back as far as 2003. west allis police are investigating a shooting at a cricket wireless store a customer was hurt. deandra corinthios is live from the police department with the details. we're told the customer suffered a gunshot wound and was being treated at a hospital for non life
anyone in custody. this happened at th e cricket wireless store at highway 100 and cleveland. west allis police set up a perimeter around the store they responded to the scene before 8 pm on wednesday other departments were also assisting ..including greenfield, new berlin and wauwatosa police as well as the milwaukee county sheriff's office. those who live nearby hope the person is arrested soon. 07:40 i saw some papers on ground, knocked over stool things with a number three so i thought it might be a shooting. again the customer who was shot...is expected to be okay. we're not sure if he or she has been released from the hospital at this point. police have not released any details about the suspect. reporting live in west allis deandra corinthios fox6 news milwaukee police also seeking two suspects in shootings from
police say a suspect got upset..and started shooting. a 48-year-old man was hit by those bullets...and drove himself to the hospital. and then around 2 a-m...a 22-year-old man showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound. he told police he got in a fight with someone...who then got shot. both victims are expected to survive...and again police still looking for those responsible. 4 fire recruits are now officially milwaukee firefighters. the milwaukee fire department held a special graduation ceremony last night at the training academy weeks preparing physically and mentally. it was an extra special night for one of the recruits. his 93-year-old grandfather-- a world war two veteran-- pinned on his badge.
