we are here to stay and see and witness and report anything out of the ordinary police say the 23-year old suspect is a milwaukee man who has an arrest record with milwaukee police. the case will be reviewed by the milwaukee county district attorney's office in the coming days. new at six. a milwaukee man is facing charges in connection to a double shooting -- that resulted in his wife's death. dexter gardner allegedly s was sitting inside a car. another woman was also shot multiple times -- but she did survive. this happened monday near 75th and glenbrook. gardners wife went to his house to pick up her kids. prosecutors say there was a history of domestic violence between the two. new information about a months-long death investigation in kenosha. it all started after skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near 122-nd avenue and 16-th street--

still trying to identify the victim but they now say he's an african american man -- between the ages of 30-and-60. it's believed he suffered from sickle cell anemia. police say the man was wearing sweatpants -- believed to be the "per-fetto" brand. anyone with information should call police. police in menomonie say they've identified a suspect in the death of a saudi arabian student studying at u-w stout. hussain saeed al-nah-di was beat to death nearly three weeks ago. haven't found any evidence that would suggest it was a hate crime. investigators say the suspect is not a u-w stout student -- and he isn't from the area. it's unclear whether or not the suspect is in custody at this time. he's already accused of planting a spy camera pen in a women's restroom... now -- he's expected to face additional counts of possessing child pornography. today in court -- christopher bohatkiewicz waived his preliminary hearing on eight felony counts of capturing an intimate representation.the 42-year-old

prosecution plans to bring additional charges -- because of the child porn allegedly found in his home. the court set his bond at 100- thousand dollars -- citing the fact that he has a young child. his liberty is at such risk as to not be able to see that child grow-up, and, for that reason, i do believe there is a need for a high, cash bond. for the original charges, the suspect is accused of secretly recording at sullivan's place bar and grill in kenosha. he had been working there as a friday night d-j for about two years. a milwaukee-area restaurant owner is sentenced to two years in prison for conspiring with his wife and son to skim millions of dollars from his business-- and failing to report the income. federal prosecutors say paul bouraxis bore-ah-keys also paid workers in cash to avoid payroll taxes.several family members also were sentenced to various sentences for their roles in the scheme. bouraxis and his family operates el fuego in milwaukee, and el beso in

special delivery. a mail carrier is robbed of a package, but he still delivers. he delivers the robber to police. it's a story of how the bad guy didn't get away. myra sanchick joins us live in milwaukee with more. it happened thursday morning near arlington and warren on the city's east side. i called the police. i was doing what i could neither snow, nor rain can stop the mail, and on milwaukee's east side, neither basically i heard yelling.they came screaming past my window.my dog started barking like crazy. it's scary to think it's happening in my backyard milwaukee police confirm thursday morning two men came up to the mail carrier, and grabbed a package he was delivering. witnesses say the mailman took off after one of them, tackling the teenager in kelsey lamb's backyard. i just saw these two men going back and forth . one

a close call-- after gunshots ring out on marquette's campus. it happened early thursday morning. today -- we're learning that at least one bullet went into a nearby apartment belonging to marquette students. nobody was injured. m-u police say a handgun was found nearby -- but there's no word whether any arrests h it's the day wisconsin hunters have been waiting for all year... and it's almost here. the state's 9-day gun deer season opens bright and early tomorrow morning. as of yesterday -- license sales were down 16-thousand compared to last year. the d-n-r says typically there's a friday-rush... so the total will go up. milwaukee public schools students could start classes several weeks early for next school year. that's if the district gets the approval. it want's to shift the calendar from september through june ---

optional 4-week-long session in june called a "j-term." m-p-s superintendent doctor darienne driver that "j-term" will help failing students catch up with their peers. currently, we are at 20 percent proficiency for english-language arts, about 15 percent for math. our graduation rate is 58 percent for four years, 74 percent for six years. we want to close that gap from what is getting done in six years, to making it happen in four years, we need more time. okay the plan and submit a waiver request to the department of public instruction. the waiver is needed because state law prohibits public schools from starting the new year before september first. back to reality this weekend as temps are taking a nosedive. stephanie barichello is coming up with her forecast. plus. thanksgiving is just days away and there's a massive effort underway to make sure everyone has food on the table. we'll tell you about it -- coming up

neediest families will have a full fridge and pantry this thanksgiving holiday. deandra corinthios shows you the massive effort underway to keep people from going hungry... it's new at six. each box is packed full of food...and is for a local family in need. volunteers for the hunger task force fill 800 thanksgiving dinner boxes. "once the box is built it will be taken outside and it will be paired with a turkey and some pies" local organizations...including food pantries ...soup kitchens and homeless shelters. those organizations distribute the food to families who don't have enough "43 percent of the children living in the city of milwaukee are living in poverty which means they may not have enough food in their house" "inside these bins youll see the traditional thanksgiving items, but then, youll see things like cereal. the hunger task force wants families to be able to eat breakfast the next morning too."
