year... less than one year old... while the oldest expected is 86! the race starts at 8:30 this morning... but you can still register onsite at miller park this morning... from 7 to 8:15. bayshore town center and brookfield square mall will both be closed today... but if you're looking to get a little shopping done... mayfair and southridge mall will open at 6 tonight. the pleasant prairie premium outlets and johnson creek outlets will open at 6 as well. closed... but j-c penney opens at 3 this afternoon... with old navy following an hour later. macy's... toys r us... best buy.. and boston store open at 5. kohl's... target... dick's sporting goods... walmart and sears will open at 6 tonight. kmart will be open this morning... but it will close around dinner and then reopen at 7. we've got a list of all the stores that are open and closed today on our website.

just hours until shoppers head to the stores-- there's not one, but two calls for shopping boycotts! it includes at one of our area's largest malls. here's fox 6's ben handelman with what protestors hope to accomplish. the family of jay anderson never thought the night before thanksgiving would be like this. cause he's not here. a group marching into the wauwatosa police department wednesday, demanding transparency. jay anderson junior was shot and killed by a tosa officer as he sat in his car in madison park. police say he had a gun. the family believes their loved one did nothing wrong. they have a new plan to try and pressure the city to release the officer's name publicly, and dash cam video from that night. they are asking for a boycott of wauwatosa businesses--- especially mayfair mall. we ask

that got the business... the wednesday before thanksgiving is traditionally a popular night to go out on the town. that's why extra police patrols were out on the roads last night. 35 departments in milwaukee and waukesha counties make up the impaired driving task force. "46:11 theyre looking for anything from headlights out to speeding violations to maybe any type of impaired driving 16 and were stopping those drivers and making sure theyre sober 21 if not were going to stop test and arrest 23" people for impaired driving over the course of last year. steven avery says -- it will be a happy thanksgiving after all. his attorney kathleen zellner tweeted yesterday that a judge has given the go ahead for more testing in the murder of teresa halbach. avery has long-since claimed that manitowoc county officials framed him for her death . wisconsin is bracing for a recount... after the former green party presidential

because stein was on novembers ballot, her campaign can request a recount in wisconsin. some believe there may be enough votes to change the outcome of the election - not to favor stein - but possibly to upset president elect donald trumps victory. stein's campaign already contacted the state elections commission... and officials are now proceeding as if a recount will happen. the deadline to file is five-o'clock tomorrow - it will be up to stein and the green party... to pay for the recount. stein is also challenging results in michigan and pennsylvania. hook for almost 2-million dollars. it's the verdict in another federal lawsuit involving an illegal body cavity search. a federal jury rewarded willie newman with one-point-nine million dollars after he said he was the victim of an illegal strip search that happened in 20-10. according to a federal complaint, newman was approached by then milwaukee police officer michael vagnini and others. he says vagnini pointed a gun at him and strip searched him in the parking lot of a north side

says the verdict comes as a relief to his client. it restores his dignity and it was really appreciated and the jury did what we believe was a wonderful job. four milwaukee police officers were fired and charged as a result of illegal strip searches. in 20-13, vagnini was convicted of felony charges. last year, the city reached a $5 million dollar settlement with 74 men. jessob/dgx bizarre surveillance images from an armed robbery at a greenfield speedway. one of the suspects was wearing a ninja turtle mask. this happened monday at the location near howard and loomis road. if you have any information give police a call. milwaukee aldermen have decided how they'll spend two million dollars that was part of a grant from the state following the violence near sherman park over the summer.

blight reduction. half of it will go toward the demolition of about 100 vacant houses in the sherman park neighborhood. the other million dollars will be used to rehab houses in the area that can be saved. the money will also be used to pay the wages of workers in the neighborhood who are in a skills training program... in the process of cleaning up the neighborhood, theres a ton of opportunity for people to get jobs, theres a ton of opportunity for people to get skills. the grant money will also go toward lease-to-ow renovated houses to eventually buy them. alderman russell stamper says the goal is for work to begin on the houses by april or may next year. new details about the deadly school bus crash in tennessee... why the driver could face additional charges. the packers are hurting-- and they haven't even played yet this week... we're finding out

recall one player from injured reserve, the immediate future of sam shields and eddie lacy hung in the balance. but yesterday, everything shifted in the wrong direction for both as their seasons came to an end. tim van vooren has more from lambeau field. high: 42 wind: nw 5-10 mph a sixth child has died from a school bus crash in tennessee. police confirm the eight-year-old boy died from his injuries last night. bishop kevin adams/ community leader "as the doctors were coming in and, you know, just announce to a family that your child is deceased -- you know, i saw mothers literally passing out , people all on the floor. the screams, i mean, i can the bus was on its way home from school monday when driver johnthony walker swerved off the road. 37 students were on board when the bus plowed into a tree and wrapped around it. police believe the bus was traveling too fast. in a youtube video released by the school bus company that employed walker-- the ceo made an emotional plea to the public. david duke/ ceo durham school services "what i can do is promise that i'm determined,

out what happened and that we will offer any support that we can to the families that are affected." no traces of alcohol or drugs were found in the blood of the school bus driver. this was the second time in two months that walker crashed a school bus. the first crash was described as minor. now, walker is likely to face additional charges. he is expected to make his first court appearance next tuesday. a university police officer in detroit has died... after being shot in the collin rose was shot tuesday night off campus at wayne state university. police say he was shot after radioing in that he was about to speak to someone about some possible car thefts. police have one man in custody. they are calling him a person of interest, but so far he is not facing any charges. fbi tests show the florida college student accused of killing a couple and biting on the dead man's face, did not have any detectable hallucinogenic
