november -- mps's superintendent has solicited public input to a proposed shifting of the schools' calendar. today, darienne driver and dpi superintendent tony evers held a joint news conference with an update. beverly taylor joins us in the studio with this developing story. it's now up to the school board to decide whether all milwaukee school high schools start "it might sound like it's small but it's a game changer for us."milwaukee public schools superintendent darienne driver has a plan to help mps succeed-- but she says it will take more instructional time during an academic year to do it. and wisconsin department of public instruction superintendent dr. tony evers stands in agreement. group of good samaritans rescues a woman from a frozen pond... and it's all caught on tape. this happened yesterday near minneapolis... the driver told authorities her windows fogged up -- and she couldn't see when her s-u-v veered off the ra shows a bunch of people pulling over -- then rushing down to help.
