we are following breaking news in southern california. officials say this huge fire that engulfed two houses, was caused when a plane crashed down on

three people. investigators say a family was trurning home from a cheerleading competition at disneyland when the plane crashed minutes after taking off from the airport. a couple and their three teenage daugters were onboard. the crash destroyed two houses, and damaged a third home. one of the girls was reportedly thrown clear from the wreckage on impact. investigators say another female passenger also survived the crash, and is now hospitalized. happening today-- president trump is preparing to address a joint session of congress for the first time since taking office. tonight's speech is expected to focus on the nation's spending.. and the president's vision for america. maggi rulli has more. trt=1:49 oc= on capitol hill

original travel ban, targeting seven majority muslim countries, and syrian refugees, was halted by federal courts. we have an update on a missing teen we told you about earlier this week. angelica barahona rivas was reported missing over the weekend. there was concern for her safety. her family says she's safe with relatives out of state. she's the cousin of a teen who was murdered in fairfax county -- in a killing suspected to be gang related. well you knew this was coming. price waterhouse coopers -- issuing an updated statement about sunday night's huge oscar mistake. the firm is taking full responsibility for what happened-- and then-- they started naming names. the firm's u-s chairman, says p-w-c partner brian cullinan -- seen here on the right -- is the one who handed the wrong envelope to presenter warren beatty backstage. in the statement-- p-w-c says there are protocols for correcting an error, but they were not followed quickly enough. and that lead to that big mistage during the award for

minor injuries.. after an american airlines jet hit severe turbulence. the plane was headed from san diego to chicago yesterday when it encountered turbulence over the rocky mountains. the pilot decided to make an emergency landing in denver, because he felt he didn't have control of the plane. when the plane landed, two passengers were taken to a hospital for evaluation. passengers were booked on other flights. and the plane was inspected.

into a crowd during saturday's pre-mardi gras parade in new orleans.. nielson rizzuto is being held on 125-thousand dollars bond.. charged with two counts of first degree vehicular negligent injury. but police say more charges are likely.. after rizzuto struck and injured 32 people. and they say the 25-year old's blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit. the man charged in a fatal triple shooting in kansas, is back behind bars on 2 million llars bail. adam purinton is charged with first-degree murder and two charges of attempted first-degree murder. witnesses say he targeted two of his victims inside a bar, and told them to get out of his country.
