in charles county. a former teachers aide- who has h-i-v - is now indicted on more than 100 counts of sex assault and child porn. the indictment includes allegations carlos bell abused two dozen boys, who were younger than 14-years old, while he worked at "benjamin stoddert middle school." police say they are still building their case, and more charges are possible. shortly after the new indictments were announced the benjamin stoddert middle school principal kenneth schroeck was reassigned. the 7 on your side i-team - is digging deeper into this case. bell's indictment was delayed for months because of a backlog at a digital crime lab. we checked in about what's being

started. a spokeswoman for u-s- capitol police says the department will not comment on ongoing investigations happening now-- a community-- as the department of homeland security moves to deport 2 brothers with no criminal history. 19 year old lizandro claros was bound for louisburg college in north carolina. his brother diego claros was working full time. last week-- during their normal check-in with ice officials the brothers were detained and the deportation process started. abc-7 reached out to ice officials about this case, and was sent this statement: "although ice does focus its resources on criminal aliens and public safety threats, which can be seen in the arrest statistics... ice does not exempt classes or categories of

while vacationing in turks and caicos.. michael jones is out of the hospital this morning. he's expected to fully recover. police say two masked men overpowered a security guard friday. they forced their way into the beachfront home where jones was staying. he was shot while confronting them. other people were in the home at the time, but they were not hurt. jones was airlifted to florida for treatment and is now back home. right now.. authorities are still searching for one of 12 inmates who escaped from jail in walker county, alabama. the oth

jail official are also releasing more information about how they escaped. the inmates reportedly used peanut butter to make the number above an inmate's cell look like the number on a door leading outside. an inmate then asked a guard to open his cell. and when the guard opened the outside door, and the group bolted. sunday night's breakout prompted a massive manhunt. the inmate who's still on the loose was in jail on drug charges. a terrifying call for help in arkansas. a teen dials 9-1-1 moments after a man kicks in the door of his home. the 14-year-old boy was alone with his the 14-year-old boy was alone with his autistic sister when the incident happened. he locked himself in his roo

the dispatcher-- the intruder gets closer and closer. sheriff's deputies quickly arrived and found the intruder hiding in a bedroom closet. police say they found a bottle of prescription pills in his pocket.. stolen from the home. the teens were not harmed. working in news means you will see some crazy things-- but they usually happen in the field, not the newsroom. well, that was not the case at a news station in australia. take a look at this. somehow a python slithered inside, and made it all the way to an editing booth, before someone saw it! two brave employees jumped in to help. they snagged the snake with a coat hanger before bagging it, and releasing it outside. no one was injured.

depression emily barrels across florida. tampa's famed sunshine skyway bridge reopened after being closed as emily came ashore. so far, there are no reports of serious injuries. the storm is expected to regain tropical storm strength as it moves away from florida and out to sea. developing now - disturbing video at the center of an excessive force lawsuit in tennesse. we warn you - this footage is graphic. it shows deputies repeatedly using stun guns on jordan norris following his arrest last year. you can see the 18-year-old restrained and a gag held over his mouth. norris's attorneys say he had 40 burn marks on his body.
