i felt like the animal wasn't handled properly. >> surbourg his rant a cat rescue her. she saw something was wrong. >> there was a lot of blood but i had to ask what happened and the staff member said that he had gotten loose and they were getting them out and into the carrier. he filed them a little bit. >> somehow during that scuffle sarah said cooper ended up with a broken jaw. the animal control officer involved is now on paid leave in the state of north carolina is investigating how this happened. >> they did say it probably took a lot of force for the job to be slipped away that it was. yet the rowan county manager released in a statement quote rowan county is deeply saddened to hear that an animal received injuries while at our shelter. it has been determined the injury occurred while the animal

emily: the queen city is officially part of the largest project in america paid charlotte has been selected to take hard in the world work cities initiative. the project brings different cities together in order to trade and data ideas and stories to that of the government and community. it also does a ton of good in the community by putting on different events. charlotte joins 26 other cities including raleigh in the venture. it's no secret that charlotte's biggest bank is downsizing but now bank of america has confirmed the recent round of job cuts will be affecting those in the queen city. a spokesperson for the company telling the charlotte observer

charlotte-based employees to get laid off. bank of america wouldn't say which departments were affected. this is in the first charlotte-based employees have been cut. over the past month local workers in mortgaging communications up and let go as a m. a streamlines its plans. those jobs are on the way out. carr says they are bringing jobs in great auto dealer says it's adding 35 new positions to for charlotte area locations. the part of carr's hiring initiative in which it's hiring six teen people from various positions across the country anything from sales to service to office manager positions need to be filled. carmichael reps say you don't need experience the car world to get an interview. it was a rough morning for families in the steel chase home division. the neighborhood in southwest charlotte was without water for more than 20 hours in an ordeal that began early thursday

thank you for intervening with us. >> thanks for having me. >> i'm so sorry that you were voted off. i loved your rendition of michael jackson and the comments of the judges were so reliable. how do you feel about all of this? >> i mean i'm not sorry did i think i'd gave it everything i could than i don't regret anything. i'm not upset. the show is an amazing experience and i have nothing to bad to say about it. the judges found me relatable. that's all i ever want to be. music is about getting everyone to feel what you are feeling and i wanted to go out there and have a good time every week and i feel like that's what i did pretty made it this far and honestly it's more than i ever thought i could do. >> tell us about your story and how you came to be so involved

be a jumping off point for you. >> it definitely is. when i was a kid i remember a couple of other kids played guitar and i wanted to start playing guitar and i wanted to start singing. once once i get i realized i was getting positive reactions. there was actually something there. it wasn't just a hobby. it consumed my entire life. i love that and next is pushing forward. i've learned a lot about myself in this experience and i'm ready to take on the world. it's a whole new world and it's really exciting. >> tells with the feeling is like when you're on the stage. you know the reputation of "american idol" has. you are confronted judges that the audience and the television audience has to be so amazing. >> is the most insane experience to be sitting in those chairs and people screaming your name. it's incredible and all the

comes in after it, there's just a lot of love. it's a good feeling. as a singer i always want my music and what i do to be noticed and i got the opportunity to do that. now i'm just ready to take it on. >> i'm assuming you want to -- as we approach the end of "american idol." any predictions? >> now predictions really because the one thing i've learned is the show is so unpredictable. i think it's going to take a good old-fashioned competition at this point. all those people are amazing and they are very talented. i can't wait to watch the rest of the season. >> real quick ms. avalon r. j-lo hairy and keith as focused as they seem to be?
