i'm excited for the game and -- thousands are going to come down to paul brown stadium to see it in person so police need to do some extra things to make sure everybody stays safe. there's some things you may see more law enforcement. not just police officers and sheriff's deputies but more canines doing sweeps before during and after the game. these dogs are trained to find explosives. now police say they'll be resources brought in from the state and n.f.l. and they want to ask you not bring large bags or backpacks. even though we're several fwheeks the season people bring them and get turned way at the gate. bring a clear bag or you are allowed to bring a small clutch but if you are in doubt about anything you're about to bring go to the bengals website and

there and they'll be a lot of people down here. police encourage you to get here early and get into the game 15 to 30 minutes early before kick off. that's just not going to do it. try to get down here earlier. just as bengals are ready for the game. police are pep paired to. >> we've done pre-season and -- prepared to. the plan is in place. the template is there it's a play off spotlight and yeah we've done it before and it will be week 11 for the season. >> also important to note of course there's going to be a lot more police down here patrolling the area but police are encouraging you if you see something wrong or something that doesn't look right call police. they want to make sure they have a lot of eyes open during the game prime time play off game.

it will plummet by the morning. we don't have a whole lot of showers going on right now. there is drizzle from time to time especially since the clouds are lau low. you can see paul brown stadium. it's going to get very busy out there. forty-nine degrees. fifty in hamilton. 47 in wilmington and 48 in batavia. way above average. usually we're in the lower 20s this time of the morning. no where near that. we're going to make it up to the 50s today even without sunshine -- you see this line of gray pushing across louisville? eventually here in cincinnati out ahead of this next storm system. here's the rain moving into memphis starting to make it in the far southwestern corner of ken it can can i. that's the rain that moves in but notice the change over to snow. here's your hour by hour forecast. >> not a whole lot of green around the tri-state. i think we'll stay mainly dry with patchy drizzle.

i'm adam clements. first we want to check our forecast. things are looking wet for tonight's bengals game. here's meteorologist brandon orr. hey brandon. >> yeah. rain is moving closer towards the tri-state. it's not going to get here until later on tonight. i think we'll have a couple isolated hit and miss showers on precision doppler 12 h.d. just drizzle from time to time. especially since we have a deck of low clouds that's going to stick was all day long. we're not going to see a whole lot of sunshine but even without sunshine we're warming into the 50s. we're in the 40s. way above average for this time of year. a few hit and miss showers we had overnight last night. this is the next batch of rain that's moving in. it hasn't moved into western portions of kentucky. that's why we're not expecting

from six we'll see spotty showers six to eight and nine, 10 and 11 we'll see steady rain move in. by 3:00 o'clock it will be the high. it's not going to last for long. there's a sharp temperature on the way changing to snow. plus we have another area of snow moving through tuesday and what impacts that can have on road conditions coming up in fifteen minutes, adam. >> we're counting down the hours until the big game tonight. there are some things you will need to know if you plan on watching the bengals face the stealers in person. it is a play off game. police say there will be heightened security. megan moore is live with more. >> that's right. we're hours before the game but there are things you'll need to know in terms of security. we're going to come down to paul brown stadium and see the game in person. there are things you cannot bring to the stadium. some things you may not think about.

see increased police presence and it's not just going to be police and sheriff's deputies. you're going to see a lot of canines down here. they will be doing sweeps before during and after the game. these dogs are trained to find explosives. they'll be morrie sourcees brought in from the state and n.f.l. as well. they want to reinforce the n.f.l. clear bag policy. and you're asked to not bring large bags or backpacks because people still bring them and get turned away at the gate. to bi -- bypass that headache bring a clear bag or small clouch. umbrellas, bottles and cans, all coolers and also the all important selfie stick. you cannot bring those. strollers if you have kids. you cannot bring those. and also photo cameras with

and we are expecting some rain so you may want to bring a poncho because umbrellas will not be allowed in the stadium. police want to make sure well. >> the city will provide additional assets with our swat team and things like that just simply because what happened in paris and things like that. there will be heightened visibility from what stems around the world. >> and also police are encouraging if you're here at the stadium today if you see anything that looks wrong doesn't look right couldn't be afraid to talk to a police officer here at the stadium or you can call police if you see something that just doesn't look right. they need your eyes and ears while you're here. also keep in mind traffic. don't wait until 15 or 30 minutes before kick off to get down here. adam back to you. >> megan, thanks. we'll check back in throughout the morning.

will be breezy. overall not too bad. the southerly wind will keep us warm. see the lighter gray moving into louisville that's the thicker clouds out ahead -- head of the rain that is approaching paducah between eight and 9:00 o'clock starting to ramp up. here's the clouds. they're set the leading edge of the rain familiar. it could be moderate but it changes over to blue. that's snow. we're not seeing rain to ice to snow. it's going straight from rain to snow tomorrow morning. in southeastern indiana around three to four oh clo can and downtown between five and 7:00 a.m. we'll see the change over through downtown cincinnati -- 4:00 o'clock. by seven or 8:00 o'clock the rest of us will have a band of snow. it will have a three hour period of steady light moderate snow move through before it tapers
