firefighters say the woman fell asleep in her recliner.. and woke up to a fire on her stove.her kitchen is damaged.. but she made it out okay.the red cross is helping her find a place to stay. 3 the man accused of killing a ohio police officer is due in court today.herschel jones will face a judge on previous charges.officers say he shot and killed officer tom cottrell with the danville police department early monday morning... and jones has had trouble in the past. he got out of prison in 2014 for burglary. and in october.. he was arrested for rape, domestic violence and stalking. the rape charge was later dropped. he's expected to be charged in the officers death soon. 3 suspended hamilton county juvenile court judge tracie hunter finds herself back in court today.hunter's re-trial begins later this morning.. her attorneys are fighting eight counts on which a jury couldn't previously decide. local 12's adam clements joins get you up to speed on the latest details. 3

3 a local charity is getting a big boost today.klosterman bread wrapped up its pink loaf campaign in honor of breast cancer awareness month.through the campaign, it sold special pink loaves at grocery stores, and reached it's goal of raising ten- thousand dollars for pink ribbon, klosterman will donate all of the proceeds to the pink ribbon girls.the check presentation is this afternoon. this was the fourth year for the pink ribbon loaf campaign. 3 cincinnati mayor john cranley will be wearing a steelers jersey today. it's part of a bet he made with pittsburg's mayor the week of the playoff game. the two agreed that the mayor of the losing team's city would have to serve food at a rescue mission wearing the winning team's jersey. we all know how that game turned out. so today, cranley will make good on that bet and serve up lunch at the city gospel mission in queensgate. montgomery inn, gold star
