ht now the action cam is live where a mix of rain with and ice could cause traffic trouble. the traffic teams are keeping an eye on this one. >> developing this morning a college student in delaware county turns up dead in a dorm room and her boyfriend is under arrest. >> a snap chat message helps police pin this pennsylvania teen with a murder and the choice where to strike a pose is shocking. >> good morning, it is 5:30, let's go over to david and karen, good morning. >> reporter: storm tracker 6 live showing we have light precipitation popping through the region. there are several batches of it. not all very impressive, where we have it we see shades of blue. temperatures at the surface cold enough for this freeze up on untreated roads, parking lots and sidewalks and overpasses, as well. this will be the pattern today we'll have scattered light

spotty precipitation. we have a winter weather advisory basically across the entire region from new castle county north and cape may county. the new issue is light rain that could translate to freezing rain and sleet mixing in. there could be a changeover to snow in northern areas tonight. 32 degrees in philadelphia. cold enough at the surface to support freeze ups. 33 in wilmington. a little milder south and that will be the case with milder air to the south. even there be came. drivers alert with temperatures near freezing if you see drops on the windshield you meant to slow down in case it's causing a freeze up. it's monday, kids, it's messy on the way to school. 31 degrees by 8:00 a.m. 32 by noon, the high is 33 degrees we're just barely

above freezing mark for an hour, and even then cold enough for a freezeup on surface. this is spotty, not a major event. are the roads looking okay. for the most part we're looking at the main roads they seem fine. this is a much different story if the ground was below freezing but that's not the case because it's mild lately. the roads are well treated. you can see the rain drops on the camera lens in she chalfonte bucks county. 202, lime kiln not problems there. lansdale, areas where we've seen mixed precipitation, expect a slick spot or two. speeds in the 60s no overnight construction. no reports of accidents this is the vine street expressway looking good, no problems on the vine. be careful on the ramps, they are treated, as well.

we're not seeing anyone slipping or sliding. >> we're following a wintery mix in bucks county, crews are warning drivers don't shrug off the weather because it isn't snow. >> this is quakertown, bucks county. this is an area that could ice up. right now it looks like traffic is moving quite nicely in quakertown. now, penndot has treated the roads in the lehigh valley and says it may send the salt trucks out again if temperatures dip and roads ice up. it is difficult to tell the difference between a wet road and an icy one. >> the vehicles cannot stop quickly on ice, no matter if you have four wheel drive or two wheel drive. leave a lot of room between your vehicle and the vehicle in front

"action news" reporter, annie mccormick is live in our satellite center with the latest on what's going on with the investigation. good morning annie. >> reporter: good morning, tam carly hall is local from chadds ford. police in her area lancaster county are calling her death suspicious after she was discovered in her dorm room at millersville university. at this point they have charged her boyfriend with aggravated assault. they said during the investigation they found the two had physical altercation hours before she was discovered. saturday and sunday, police responded to a call of cardiac

arrest and found her in her dorm room. the boyfriend 19-year-old of ken net square is in lancaster county prison charged with aggravated assault that stems from an earlier incident. millersville university and the borough police are confident there's no danger to the campus or the community. an autopsy is expected to be performed today on the victim. >> i guess it's kind of crazy. millersville is a safe campus, i feel very safe. to hear gth something like that has happened, i feel safe. >> reporter: the boyfriend was arraigned in front of a lancaster county district justice. his bail charged with a first degree felony is set at $1.5 million. he didn't post-it.
