head through the week. today we hit 91 degrees, so far this year, our 26th day of temperatures in the 90s and it is a relatively hot summer and the average number of 90 degree days 23 and typically we get 27 for the entire year, we are only one day away from that. temperatures have adopted to the 80s except for allentown at 90 but philadelphia 88 and wilmington 6-and millville 83 and with the wind off the ocean, cape may is the current temperature is 81 degrees, today say warm and humid night, really stuffy and 79 is the low in philadelphia and 69 in allentown and 79 in wilmington and the boardwalk in atlantic city, 74 degrees and people are cranking their air conditioners, and could have a spotty thunderstorm and could be widespread, there is a lot of unsettled weather on the way, the main weather maker

is across the plain states and there is the cold front making it toward chicago and that is moving at a snails pace, all of this activity is bubbling up to the south and west and that is moving our way as we head through the week, ranking our days as a percentage of rain, looking at a high probable as the cold front moves through, we are increasing until then, holding out at a 30% chance of a shower depending how far to the east that front will move, if it stays close to the shore we have a better chance of showers, i talked about tropical depression number four likely to become tropical storm danny, well it did. it's moving west at 12 miles per hour, it's 1600 miles east of the windward islands and it looks like danny is moving into favorable conditions for development, warm water and not a lot of wind shear, by thursday

here outside of the senesta hotel, at 18th and market, this is one of the hotels with rooms still available, hotels are expected to sellout and some did, but with the papal visit fast approaching, some hotels are making a push to let people know there are still places to stay at reduced rates. >> center city still has vailability. >> hotel managers tell "action news" that hotel rooms are stillable in center city in the wake of the papal visit and the world meeting of families. they expected to sell out fast. >> i think people thought it would be a nightmare, the whole week of the meeting of families as well as the pope visit. >> some have a minimum night stay, for the papal weekend we have 70 to 85 rooms available

per night, it fluctuates on different nights friday through sunday but there is quite a bit of available. the senesta is putting out word that they have availability. and should not let tight security keep them away. >> i hear that a lot of security has scared people away, and that is understandable, but we want to tell people we are open for business and we still have rooms available. >> and hotel managers say that hotel prices are reduced to the price of any convention, not $1,000 a night. i think those types of rates were out there sara but you'll see that the hotels have reduced the rates, they are looking anywhere from $250 to $480 depend on the day of the week and things like that. >> and that is probably a standard rate during the city for any convention.

police. police are looking for the man who was shot in the face in the tioga-nicetown section, he was shot in the face and ran to a nearby pizza shop for help and collapsed inside. no word on a suspect or motive. senator menendez delivered a blow to the nuclear deal with iran. he said he will vote against the agreement and vote to override the veto. and that comes after remarks by senator schummer, there is enough votes to shoot down the deal in congress but it's unclear if the presidential veto could be overridden. the newest national poll putted businessman, donald trump solidly in the lead for the republican nomination for president, the poll shows one out of every four republican

scammers, the phishy email is going around demanding you appear in court for an unpaid toll. when you click on the attachment to pay, it's all a game to get access to your commuter and information. >> it's absolutely a classic phish and what they bank on is sheer numbers. because though are sending that spam email to literally millions of people. of course the question is what can you do? the advice is to avoid anything with an attachment, or anything asking for personal information is a spam email, the tip is take a closer look at the senders email, it may say easy pass, if you hover over it, it may not look like anything from an actual toll authority. police in rehoboth beach are looking for the man that robbed
