mid 40s by dinnertime. rain in the morning arena showers on and off through the afternoon and evening. i'll show you that on future tracker 6 coming up. karen, tomorrow starts out damp, will we end up dry? >> reporter: you keep working on it. looking at the boulevard, that's the southbound traffic heading toward the schuylkill expressway, you can see the cars driving through the spray coming back on the windshield behind you, it is a wet one out there. we have ponding and puddling on the roads. watch out for that. the burlington bristol bridge is up, head to the turnpike connector bridge. this is a good shot. you can see the rain coming down under the streetlight. you can see the ponding often roadways. this is upper state road at bristol road. we have an accident mill road at easton road. watch for crews on the scene.
take it easy with the roads being wet, tam. an emotional picture coming out of maryland, police officers joining hands in memory of a murdered colleague this case has a direct tie to the area. jacai colson was born in delaware county and went to school there. police say he was executed that's the word they used in an act of evil. katherine scott is live in boothwyn where officer coleson graduated. >> reporter: good morning, tam, officer jacai colson was born here, he went to chichester high school and four year veteran of the prince county police department. police officers joined hands outside the hospital after jacai colson was killed in an unprovoked attack in high yatsville maryland.
-- hiyattsville maryland. authorities say around 4:30 a gunman fired at the first officer he saw outside the district 3 station affirm gun battle followed with several officers firing back at the suspect. that suspect was wounded, but is expected to survive. a second suspect was arrested soon after. colson an undercover narcotics officer was pronounced dead at the hospital. jacai was important to his family, he is important to this entire community. we have another mother who is without her son, for that we are deeply sorry. we are deeply sorry. >> reporter: and police say the officers were in no way engaging with the suspect before this happened, so the motive into the shooting remains under investigation. we're live in boothwyn, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." thank you for that. new jersey state trooper sean cullen will be laid to rest this afternoon, first the public viewing for the 31-year-old

presbyterian hospital for treatment. police have two suspects in custody in connection with a pair of unrelated stabbings in center city. latest attack happened at broad and afternoon and 6th last night. two young men were buying drugs from another man, an argument ensued leading to the stabbing. a 24-year-old man was fatally stabbed in rittenhouse square early sunday morning. authorities say the victim was celebrating saint patrick's day, when a homeless veteran attacked and killed him. the family of nadji steely is pleading for the killer to come forward, the 18-year-old was caught in the crossfire of a nearby gun battle. new jersey senate is getting ready to vote on a state
