in that location we're expecting a brief period of light snow developing after lunchtime today. the timeline looks like, again, this is for the area in the advisory from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. give or take an hour or two. very light snow is expected, minor accumulations, grassy coating to a half inch. 6:00 p.m. to midnight we're expecting cloudy skies in that area where a lull or break in the action. round number two develops around midnight. it may start briefly as snow, but it will over to rain. whatever snow you have on the ground will wash away. there's double scan live you can see the thin sliver of snow stretching ahead of a warm front down here. as the warm front crosses the area, you pick up the light snow, we get into the lull and round number two that pulls in after midnight tonight. that's the northwestern suburbs. philadelphia areas south and east, cloudy skies, snow flurries and sprinkles possible,

see is mangled and charred. the car went out of control about 2:45 a.m., rolled over anne caught fire. amazingly the driver managed to walk away from the crash. that person was treated for minor injuries at crozer-chester hospital. no word on charges. 7:03 a.m., two people were shot outside a produce market in upper darby, police are looking for the shooter. this happened in the 6700 block of market street. investigators say not what led to the gunfire. this morning we're waiting for an update on the condition of the two victims. this morning new honors for a wilmington firefighter killed in the line of duty. ardythe hope was promoted before being laid to rest. the fire department elevated her to lieutenant during a memorial service at the chase center yesterday. she was awarded the medal of valour for attempting to save fell firefighters from the
inferno back in september. firefighter brad speakman survive his injuries. wilmington fire chief called hope a firefighter and fighter and super woman. >> ardythe hope, the daughter, the sister, the mother, the aunt, the firefighter, emt, lpn and rn was all about caring for others, caring for us. >> she told her three children that their mom sits alongside kings and queens and watching over their every move. chad perdelli has more on the ardythe hope memory article in the next half-hour. -- memorial in the next half-hour. turkey is holding a day of mourning for the 0 people killed in a bombing in istanbul. 150 people were hurt. overnight turkey interior minister said 1 people are in custody. -- 13 people are in custody.

carrier. what you're seeing this is the warm front this is moisture that developed ahead of the warm front. south of the warm front there's nothing going on. the system moves in this afternoon, areas west of philadelphia. you pick up the brief period of snow, we get into a break or lull in the action during the evening hours, after midnight tonight, round number two moves in, that's about rain for everybody. future tracker 6 we'll set it in motion kind of put it altogether for you, again, later this afternoon, period of light snow out through here, we catch a break during the evening. around midnight we see a sudden explosion in precipitation, now at that point, temperatures will start to rise aloft so it will fall in the form. rain. western suburbs and south and east of philadelphia, i-95 corridor. it's all rain. monday morning it will change over to rain in the lehigh valley. a lot of wet roads out there, steady rains in through south jersey, by afternoon it's clouds
giving way to limited sun and temperatures up into the 40s. generally speaking what to expect for snow to change to rain far western suburbs the lehigh valley and the poconos. it's a cold rain for the i-95 corridor and points south and east. as far as snowfall totals are concerned we are expecting an inch to half inch far western suburbs, flakes around the pennsylvania turnpike, west of philadelphia. city of philadelphia, cloudy skies, flurries and sprinkles. 36 degrees is the high. we lost the wind, windchills will not be harsh like we've seen over the last couple of days. overnight tonight, areas that have seen the snow west of philadelphia, they will change over to rain. lehigh valley, rain, poconos, same deal, temperatures rising from 32 north and west, 35 in center city. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, morning rain

the man accused of killing will smith. car dell haze testified in his defense. during his testimony he said he heard gunshots and fired in self-defense. he said smith grabbed the gun. prosecutors say his gun was in the car and never fired. he was legally drunk at the time of the collision. two women are suing a groom and his event company that ran his wedding saying a drone crashed into them during a reception in new hampshire. they said they had concussions after the drone hit them. the event manager said before the incident, he saw the groom flying the drone outside the tent and told him it was illegal for him to be flying it. he said he landed the drone. the groom said he does not know

ground it's evaporating. the atmosphere will moisten up this afternoon from now until then, main a flurry or two. that's it. >> reading, 25, allentown, 25. millville, 26 degrees, here's the good news we lost the gusty wind. temperatures feel like the temperatures not something a lot colder because the winds are not nearly as strong as what they've been over the last couple of days. there's good news there. here comes the clouds quickly increasing. most of the mid atlantic cloudy this morning. there's the ribbon of snow. the warm front is off to the south. this is what we call warm air invection precipitation. in other words what's happening there's cold air in place, aloft the warmer air is starting to move on in. the atmosphere doesn't like that it starts precipitating that's why we're seeing the snow. this ribbon of snow could get into the western suburbs and the
lehigh valley. we'll see a break in the action this evening, followed by the main event. future tracker not impressed with the light snow this afternoon. accuweather will allow for it. west of philadelphia, the far western suburbs, lehigh valley it's probably snowing at that point. it's a light snow, but it's doing something. same thing with the poconos this area here. then we'll catch a lull in the action this evening. around midnight all this reloads, this time the warm airplane is in place aloft. it's rain for just about everybody. by the morning commute it's rain as far north as there. whatever snow you do see, the rain will wash it away. rainy conditions creates slick spots, allow extra time tomorrow morning to get into work and school. take your time getting to work and school tomorrow morning. by afternoon, combination of sun and clouds, probably more
