problems there. a good shot of the road surfaces, nice and dry. you could see a slick spot or two. wherever it's shiny it's slick. >> a little of snow a lot of traffic could make for a bad combination during the morning commute. annie mccormick is live in penn pennsauken, new jersey with a look at the conditions. >> reporter: i want to give you a look at the snow we had overnight. it's not a lot, it's what i like to call starter snow, it's just the of winter. i want to give you a look at route 70 in camden county. we just saw a salt truck go by, the roads look slick, they are not icy, they did pretreat the roads on route 70 and route 38 and when we went over the ben franklin bridge, penndot did there share as far as pretreating the roads with salt
there. you can see it's wet, but not slick. take a look at the video, my hometown, moors town, new jersey, main street, the snow is falling there, it looks like a piece out of it's a wonderful life. there's a little bit of snow when you wake up, in moorestown looks like there's a lot of snow that fell, when you wake up, you will see it on the grass and cars, back out here live in pennsauken, it's cold out. i can't feel it, because i have four layers on. i have a down jacket and 6abc hat. if you're going to the bus, you want to layer, if you're walking anywhere, is as for right now it's not too bad, as long as you layer, but coming in around 3:00 a.m., we did see it was a little bit warmer and now the temperatures as david said are starting to drop. we'll see what's what's to comee

over a period of time. the metal was sold. >> reporter: at one point they took a super sack of nickel out which weighs over two thousand kilograms. it was so heavy, the cargo truck they loaded it into started to tip up on from the back wheels. >> the total hall was $1 million of the metal. the employees sold it for scrap as less than half its worth. one of the thieves ratted out the accomplices. >> a woman is charged in connection with a hit-and-run that injured a delaware boy. marcia williams hit the boy on december 5. williams turned herself in tuesday night, she told the detectives she knew she hit something, but didn't know what, she was charged with leaving the scene of a collision and failing to report the crash.

and freezing rain or sleet and quickly changing over to rain. here's what future tracker 6 has on that, looks like this comes in after midnight. 1:30 a.m. saturday you're looking at snow sweeping through a good portion of the region. by the next morning, the warm air beginning to push up. looks like most of the precipitation we'll see from philadelphia south will be rain. there could be snow on the ground before the change. you want to be careful driving around early saturday morning this is 7:00 a.m. philadelphia south changing over. in the northern suburbs there's a chance of freezing rain or sleet. snow in the lehigh valley. later in the morning on saturday, looks like it gets warm enough before everything changes over to rain. the afternoon on saturday is cloudy, it will dry out. what to expect on the ground before the change over to rain, maybe a little bit in south jersey, that will wash away. one to three in philadelphia, that will wash away. up in the poconos a little bit more. a bitter wind during the daytime
