many spots like the vine expressway. last time before the holiday they shut it down overnight, it is closed in both directions. we see a truck going to the westbound side. it will be closed until 5:00 p.m. until they are rescheduled to open the vine and then no construction until tuesday night. water main spill columbus boulevard, at 6:00 a.m. they will block that, as well. starting at 6:00 a.m., an hour and a half from now all of columbus boulevard southbound will be blocked. no issues on the in i-95, the boulevard where the speeds are in the 40s and 50s. i expect the rush hour to be lighter than normal with people taking the day off. turnpike, fort washington, left and center lanes are blocked.
upper gwynedd, valley forge road is closed until 6:00 a.m. construction near the northeast extension. broad street alternate for you early on this friday morning. matt. >> thank you matt. breaking overnight, firefighters battle a two-alarm apartment blaze in pottstown in montgomery county. in the end one person was found dead. annie mccormick was live at the fire scene on the 400 block of east high street. annie. >> reporter: matt, i want to show you behind me this is still an active scene, a number of fire trucks are out here and number of waiting ambulances, as well. they are expected to be out here for another hour. we are told according to the video, firefighters arrived to the 400 block of east high street. the second floor they saw heavy fire and smoke. the blaze escalated to two-alarms. there were initial reports of
people trapped inside, when if it is got inside they found a person dead on the second floor. >> they knocked the fire down and found a deceased subject in one of the bedrooms. all the other tenants self evacuated safely. >> reporter: all the tenants who did self evacuate are getting help from the red cross. they are looking for a number of cats. the fire marshal said they are at the beginning to trying to figure out the exact origin and the cause of the blaze. reporting live in pottstown,ann. >> a woman was shot in the arm when she struggled with the men around 11:30 p.m. on east allegheny avenue. the woman's roommate and the
three-year-old heard the commotion, but were not hurt. police are looking for the two men. >> the search for a missing teen in montgomery county has come to a tragic end. the 14-year-old's dismembered body was found in the woods. police are looking at her mother. the mother never followed up on the promise to drop off pictures for the purpose of the investigators. she kept cashing her social security check. she was charged with obstruction and child endangerment. police are asking for the public of her potential involvement in the death. donald trump and putin are
