on main street. a little bit of fog. west chester low visibilities along 202. >> thank you matt. breaking news, a gun battle between two men sent bullets flying through the air. one man was wounded another man was asleep in his house was awaken from the sound of a bullet striking his bed post. jeanette reyes has more from the scene. >> reporter: well, matt, one man is in critical condition. another narrowly missed being stopped while he was asleep in bed all this the aftermath of a shootout all this happening blocks away from the police station. philadelphia police say gunshots rang out at the intersection of north 15th and calmly street in the city's logan section. two men in a car had two guns.
it was clear there was a hail of gunfire at the initial scene. nearby cars were riddled with bullets. police found a window with a bullet hole in it. i narrowly missed a 57-year-old man asleep in his belt. police were -- in his bed post. police were surprised to find out there was a gunshot victim. >> we were notified by einstein hospital that a 29-year-old man showed up and was struck by gunfireness left arm and shoulder and left torso. >> reporter: the shooting victim did undergo surgery. he is in critical condition. authorities are not -- doctors are not sure whether he will pull through. the suspect who are detained are being interviewed by northwest
detectives. >> breaking this morning, an suv landed upside down after crash into a tree in south jersey, this happened on the 1700 block of street road in gloucester township. the driver and the passenger inside the suv were both injured, an investigation continues this morning into why that driver lost control in the first place. also in gloucester county, a biker appears to be hurt after being hit by a car. you can see how the bike hit the car window in the picture from chopper 6 hd. this happened along the ramp connecting southbound 295 and nearby 130 in west deptford around 8:00 p.m. the victim was rushed to cooper medical center in critical condition. no word on if the driver involved will face charges. overnight french
