karen rogers is outside with the umbrella. >> reporter: we have a backup on i-95, all northbound traffic is being forced off 41 in bristol township. -- 413 in bristol township. the action cam is on the scene showing the car's wheels in the air. it happened at 1:00 a.m. more than five hours ago now, but investigators remain on the scene, because it was a fatal accident. they are out here trying to figure out what happened, and led to the vehicle losing control and flipping upside down. northbound traffic being forced off at 413 stay on route 1 the super highway through bensalem and langhorne and morrisville. on the big picture no major issues on i-95. looking good on the schuylkill expressway. minor crash on blue route, 476

northbound of the schuylkill expressway. outside live painters crossing in chadds ford, it's damp and foggy, we're seeing that in portions of delaware and chester counties this morning. the traffic we are waiting for the red light it's not too bad at this intersection. kind of going downhill in spots, right karen rogers? >> reporter: salute, i've got the umbrella -- absolutely i've got the umbrella up. it's not actually raining but i want to show you it's starting to move in allentown, reading and lancaster, at the doorstep of the i-95 corridor. we can go in closer and watch this in motion, you can see the progressing to the east/southeast. if you're in pottstown, you're getting wet. norristown, malvern it's sprinkles, what you see is heavier to the west of you is heading in your direction, in coatsville it's raining out to the northwest. the roads will be wet. it's currently 54 degrees in the city.

the window of a home and into the bed post of a sleeping man. jeanette reyes is live at northwest detectives with more on the story. georgia -- jennette. >> reporter: good morning, tam one man is fighting for his life, another recovering from the shock of a bullet narrowly missing him all this happening just a couple of blocks away from the police station. philadelphia police say around 11:30 thursday night, gunshots rang out near the intersection of north 15th street in logan section. 18th and comlynn police say two men in the car tossed out two guns. a few blocks down they were detained by police. it was clear back at the scene there was a hail of gunfire. nearby cars were riddled with bullets, police even found a window with a bullet hole in it. it narrowly missed a 57-year-old man found asleep inside. he woke up to the bullet lodged

in his bed post. police were surprised to find out while investigating the shooting there was in fact a gunshot victim. they received a call from einstein about a 29-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds. >> based on on ballistic evidence we know that were fired. we found over 20 shell casings. two guns were used. we are not certain that they are the two guns that police recovered at 18th and comlynn after following the vehicle. >> reporter: and the gunshot victim did undergo surgery overnight. it is not known whether he will survive his injuries. the persons of interest two men detained overnight they were interrogated by northwest detectives a few hours ago. jeanette reyes channel 6 "action news." >> breaking overnight the driver of an suv lost control

and crashed landings upside down against a tree in gloucester township. the driver and passenger were injured. their conditions have not yet been released and police are still investigating. the family of a woman who was struck by a philadelphia police cruiser is speaking exclusively to "action news" about what happened. this was the scene in kensington on tuesday when police carried 25-year-old michelle colt to their cruiser to rush her to the hospital. an officer backed into her during a chase with a criminal suspect. the mother of two remains in critical condition. >> michelle is tough. ible she is going to make it. but she is in for a long long road an a lot of surgeries. >> the officer involved has been placed on non-driving status. the murder trial is underway for david creato junior, the camden county father

accused of killing his 3-year-old son. they heard his 911 calls in which he told police he woke up and found his son missing on october 13, 2015. he was found partially submerged in a creek in a wooded area in cooper river park a half mile away from his apartment. his mother testified saying her son who was afraid of the dark would not have made the walk. creato maintains his innocence, testimony is expected to resume on tuesday. authorities are looking for this man who they say threw roofing mails in cumberland county damaging 30 tires. vineland police released the picture of the suspect. he threw the nails into the businesses on gallagher drive and northfield road. subway sandwich jobs could

be effected. >> subway closed hundreds of u.s. stores as sales slowed. the chain shut 359 locations closing more stores than it opened for the first time in its history. subway has been battling rivals and working to polish its image by eliminating antibiotics from the chicken items. there are 1700 locations in the u.s. and more around the world. corporate earnings fueled a rally for stocks. future are pointing to a mixed open and reports on existing home sales and manufacturing is due out today. unemployment has fallen to 17 year low. that's the lowest reading since april 2000.economist consider ts

>> reporter: yeah, 5 1/2 hours later, they have the northbound lanes of i-95 closed. this is where the accident happened bristol township, bucks county. all northbound traffic is being forced off on to 413 and into bristol borough. action cam remains on the scene on the southbound side when the truck passes, that's why we couldn't see for a second. it's a single-vehicle accident. the driver lost control and the car overturned. one person was killed unfortunately. all northbound traffic being forced off on i-95. this is not doing good things to the traffic as you can imagine. 4 miles per hour, 9 miles per hour, as we pull in the waze app. it's jammed solid north of street road. people are detouring on mull berry street. it's a mess of a situation. i've been recommending route 1, the boulevard up to the super

multiple times in his left arm, left shoulder and torso. it is unclear if the victim will survive the injuries. as for the two men who were detained they were interrogated overnight. reporting live in logan, jeanette reyes channel 6 "action news." >> thanks jennette. firefighters have a house fire under control in the lawncrest neighborhood. the flames started at 3:30 a.m. seemed to be coming from the second floor. the smoke damaged neighboring house, as well. as far as we know nobody was hurt. two french officials say the gunman in yesterday's deadly paris attack was detained in february for threatening police, but police released him for lack of evidence. the man opened fire on police along the champ elysees killing an officer and seriously wounding two others and police shot and killed him. isis claimed responsibility for the attack. vice president mike pence gave his condolences to the people of

pellman how is i-95 doing? >> reporter: not so well, no improvement yet. it's closed at 413 and bristol township. all northbound traffic being forced off on to 413. we have the vehicle involved in the one-vehicle crash uprighted, getting ready to tow it away. it is not out of here yet. 4 miles per hour northbound away from street road along i-95. you really want to think alternates like route 1, the boulevard up to super highway through langhorne that's nice and clear at this point. you can bail at the pennsylvania turnpike if you're trying to get into new jersey and use that, no problems at this point on the turnpike. i-95 northbound remains blocked at this point. i-95 southbound plenty busy heading into the city with the speeds in the teens and 20s. schuylkill expressway 13 miles
