ridge and county line roads. two women and a girl were in the southwest philadelphia home when they heard a banging at the door, a barrage of bullets came inside hitting the two women. katherine scott is live at southwest detectives with the full story. >> reporter: the two women are in stable condition at the hospital that 3-year-old girl who was inside the home at the time was remarkably not injured in all this. police say they are lucky, because there were 14 bullet holes concentrated in and around the front door that tore through the home. let's go to the video in the scene where you can see the police processing the scene and gathering evidence overnight. this happened before 2:00 a.m., police say two women a 40-year-old woman who rivals there and her 36-year-old friend were inside the home on the 5500 block of hatfield street when they heard loud banging on the door. one of the woman looked out the
peephole and 14 shots were fired, ten went through the front door and two in the side door and one in the siding. the 40-year-old resident was shot in her stomach, the 36-year-old friend was shot in the thigh. the friend's daughter was inside the house. we don't know where they were inside. bullets hit downstairs. >> the 12 shots struck the two females, went through the couch and into the living room and dining room wall, bullets into the ceiling. >> reporter: police shea the shots were fired from the sidewalk across the street they do not have a may have been or detailed description of the suspect the only description they have it was a man wearing a mask. katherine scott channel 6
