doran is accused of killing bethanni williams of winston- salem who had tried to help a stranded driver. prosecutors say doran never stop when he hit them. later that same year, doran set fire to several beach condos. earlier this month the 24-year- old avoided a possible death penalty by pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree mayor turner -- mortar murder and arson. they say he had been drinking. of course we will be in the courtroom this morning when he is expected to plead guilty and we will bring you the latest in our afternoon newscast. >> julia sims, thank you. durham police are looking for those involved in a shooting that send three voice to the hospital around 11:30 saturday night. police say someone

police in suburban cleveland are considering charges against a 74-year-old woman who drove into a crowd at an outdoor dance. they say she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake. eight people were injured. federal officials are looking into a shooting in connecticut were 13 people were shot. the others had non-life- threatening injuries profit which is against the law in bridgeport. so the organizers may face charges. no suspects have been arrested. the wisconsin attorney general will investigate the violent protests. civil smith was shot and killed and smith was holding a handgun when he turned for the officer.

>> good morning everybody. a man accused in the crash that killed three people over the weekend has his first court appearance today. >> police say he was driving when he crashed on highwoods boulevard. wral's julia sims's at the justice center with more on the terrible crash. >> reporter: good morning, bill and lena. police say jaciel espino-montes 's car was packed with seven people. he is charged with his cousins. and the skaters say the 22-year- old espino-montes was driving along the highway boulevard sunday morning when he swerved and hit a light pole and hit a tree. 21-year-old elsa velasquez 18- year-old tomas rivera and 22- year-old paul batista died. 's parents told us they are
