the death toll has risen on at least 69, most of them killed women and children and more than 300 injured, many of them still in critical condition. this morning funerals are already being held for some of the young victims of yesterday's attack. we have more. >> reporter: the bomb went off near the children's ride in a park crowded with christians celebrating the easter holiday. in the aftermath, scenes of chaos. relatives looks for missing loved ones, women and children standing on blooding grounds. the scene at the hospital also chaotic. one after another the wounded many of them women and children carried in. the health officials saying many were in critical condition. the breakaway fax of the taliban in pakistan said they were behind the attack. the christian community celebrating easter was the, quote, prime target. >> we are really, really sad and

search for a man whom police say shot two people along bath place southeast. d.c. police tell us both victims were conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital around 10:30 last night. to northeast washington where fire sent a firefighter and two other people to the hospital. the firefighter with serious injuries. investigators are trying to find out what caused the fire. and now to the aftermath of those terror attacks in brussels. sunday tribute to the victims turned violent when members of a right wing group crashed that vigil. police pushed back the protesters using water cannons. meanwhile the metro lines there that had been closed reopened over the weekend except the station where the bombs went off. the airport will remain closed until thursday. over the

out 13 raids and arrested nine people. this morning at taliban splipte group is claiming responsibility for a bombing on sunday in pakistan. the bomber targeted christians celebrating the easter holiday at a park. officials say the bombs went off near the children's rides. horn 300 people were hurt.the government has declared three days of mourning following that attack. today if you have an emergency, d.c. e in ms crews may not be the ones taking you to the hospital. a third party ambulance service will start taking calls today in the district. amr ambulance company will deal with calls that are nonlife threatening and not time sensitive. that will increase the number of d.c. ambulances available for critical calls. 35 amr ambulances will be used for the calls. the fire chief says the new ambulances will provide more time for training and for preventive maintenance on d.c. ambulances.
