this interview with "the american prospect" it's hard to know he's not on the record. said i didn't think he would quote me and saying the president is bluffing that will irritate the national security team. however, steve bannon is also speaking to the president and what he's saying on charlottesville, hey, you've got them now, you think this was a terrible moment for the presidency, i think this was a defining moment for donald trump and i think it will be an interesting dare to the president. it the national security folks want him out whether secretary of state, they want bannon out, john kelly may want him out. will the president. does the president want to throw bannon overboard and risk that alienation with that part of his base. i think bannon is almost daring the showdown inside this white house. >> and what
