set to vote this morning on whether to ban smokeless tobacco at sports venues, even miller park. that's where pete zervakis is live to explain the logic behind the proposal. players and fans here at miller park would face fines up to 250 dollars for using smokeless tobacco if the council approves the ban this the milwaukee brewers have said they support the ban.... which would apply not just at millerk. effect at all sports venues across milwaukee... banning chewing tobacco on playing fields... team benches.. fan areas... and even parking lots and tailgating areas outside of sports venues. similar policies are already in place in cities like san francisco... la... boston... and chicago. the proposal passed the public safety committee 5-0 earlier this month. the full common

morning. live...pz... tmj4 and also happening today at city hall: aldermen could vote on a plan to keep city water, safer. you've been hearing a lot about milwaukee's plans to replace old, lead pipes to keep drinking water clean. today-- a plan to ?replace them? is up for a vote. the cost of that fix-- could come down on homeowners. they'll be asked to cover some of the cost to replace the pipes. two bartenders... inside a deadly officer-involved shooting are threatening to sue the city. mary heitzmann and kurt klessig were working at union tap during a robbery in july.responding officers shot and killed the suspect. one of the bullets hit klessig. both bartenders claim the officers were negligent and knowingly started shooting with innocent bystanders in the line of fire. in just a few hours the latest 'trouble in toyland' report is expected to be released.it shines the spotlight on
