we've seen a lot of wrong way drivers this time-- a deputy had a close call. it happened along i- 75 near exit 200. investigators tell 10news reporter kendra conlon the driver had been in the break-down lane for at least 6 miles. it's terrifying for these drivers to from a sarasota county squad car... just before 11 monday morning -

news, wtsp we talked to "fleury" who's out of jail-- but didn't want to comment on his arrest. a judge ordered him to be on supervised release. he has to stay sober-- and comply with random testing. severe weather hit several parts of the southeast on tuesday... leaving a path of destruction. overnight the national weather service confirmed a tornado hit pensacola. throughout the day on tuesday - tornado watches were in place across several states including florida.. llouisiana got hit hard with severe weather. the roof was torn off this gym and this is what's left of a mobile home park in convent. you can see just rubble and downed power lines. several people have been injured and three killed in
this is what's left in assumption parrish, louisiana. officials say two apparent tornadoes tore through here damaging up to 20 homes and several businesses. crime alert! a code red warning message went out tuesday night to residents in citrus county.# that message went out to people living in dunnellon. roughly everyone living along that orange line on your screen -- along dunnellon road between us 19 and 41...got the call. citrus sheriff's deputies say there's been an explosion of residential daytime burglaries in the area and are asking everyone to be on their guard. the republican presidential caucuses wrapped up in nevada overnight. and donald trump made it "3-in a row" with his win in nevada after new hampshire and south carolina. trump had a substantial lead in the polls but really it's second place many have been watching. it could give the candidates some "much-needed momentum"-- heading
almost 600 delegates will be at stake. ted cruz is hopeful. marco rubio is already campaigning in minnesota and michigan. john kasich and ben carson are just hoping to keep their campaigns alive. on the other ticket-- democrats hillary clinton and bernie sanders both took part in a town hall tuesday night in south carolina. the south carolina democratic primary is saturday. apple wants its ongoing encryption battle with the f-b-i to go before congress. apple refuses to comply with a court order-- to create a backdoor...allowing the f-b-i to access data from an iphone of one of the "san bernardino terrorists." the company has until friday to make its appeal.

more on all the problems. and why. the restaurant might not have wanted customers to know. when 10investigates stopped by this spring hill popeye's. earlier this month. we found the doors still locked. even though a state health inspector already cleared the restaurant to reopen. the restaurant was shut down as an emergency closure on february 2nd. but many customers had no idea why. 22:19 i've never noticed anything bad about it. i've always thought it was a good restaurant. signs on every entrance and at the drive-thru indicated. a simple "lack of hot water" was the reason for the latest closure. but the restaurant's earlier state inspection reports make no mention of hot water issues.
