keep each other lifted up in times like this. - right now.the flags here are at half-staff - and flowers lay at the feet of this fallen heroes memorial in honor of deputy kot-fee-lah.. ...who lost his life early saturday morning during a terrible head-on collision on the selmon expressway - what makes this especially sad is...sheriff's officials say he had just left tampa general hospital after investigating a crash when a wrong-way driver on the selmon hit him - not only that...but as a traffic accident investigator...deputy kot-fee-lah spent his days working on the very thing that killed him. - he had been with the sheriff's office for six years...and was just 30 years old

republicans opposed to granting him a confirmation hearing. senate majority leader mitch mcconnell labeled the visit a stunt orchestrated by the white house. former presidential contender marco rubio also stood firm: the white house says it will set up meetings with other senators when lawmakers return from their easter recess in two weeks. this morning the f-b-i is investigating a piece of suspicious mail sent to the trump parc east tower in new york city. the mailing was addressed to donald trump's son, erik. reports are the postmark was from massachusetts. polk county deputies need your help finding the person who stole a car with a toddler inside! this morning they want to speak with this man they are calling a suspect. deputies say a woman was supposed to be watching the 2- year-old boy. but she left him in her car with the keys in the ignition while she went in the "mulberry pharmacy on north church avenue." when she came out, the child and car were gone. the car was found with the child still inside-- just down the street at

new ordinance will ease the stress on the court system... and save some from a life-long criminal record. last year, tpd arrested more than 1800 people for possessing less than 20 grams of marijuana. the f-b-i says a student who went on a stabbing spree at the university of california, merced last year was inspired by an islamic terrorist group's website. police say faisal mohammad stabbed four people in november, then campus police shot and killed him. the fbi says mohammad had a backpack filled with a two page plan, a photocopy of an isil flag and tools intended to do more damage. investigators say he was kicked out of a study group and then plotted the attack for at least a week. they found mohammad reached out to these extremist groups but never got a

his bike didn't have lights on when it collided with a ford escape thursday night. ravens coach john harbaugh called the news "devastating." walker was drafted in 2015 and for the ravens last season. two firefighters were hurt while battling a house fire in tacoma, washington. one had equipment failure inside the home and another medical issue. thursday afternoon was sparking on the roof. more than two dozen firefighters were on scene. the seton hall basketball team may be returning home after a disappointing loss in the n-c- double-a tournament, but one player just made history. guard derrick gordon became the first openly gay player to play in the tournament last night against gonzaga. afterwards, gordon tweeted his appreciation for people who believed in him-- saying he was very thankful. an ocean front town in oregon is tired of sea lions causing damage, so they are using an interesting tactic to scare them away. check this out.. air dancers have
