welcome to 10news this morning. i am allison kropff. world series champions by the end of the day. the cubs and the indians hours away.>> no sign of a missing father after his son was found near the alla fire river.>> any way for you to get across the tampa bay area. sarah hollenbeck is live where the ferry is live. >> reporter: in less than four hours the captain of this 149 passenger ship will set sail and you can see it is already right here ready for the grand departure. leaders will take it for a world but by friday you can jump on board and write it over the next six months. leaders are thrilled. they say this is absolutely essential that you have another way to get from downtown st. pete to downtown tampa and vice versa. why not take your commute to the water. the boat will connect you from the pier behind this st. pete museum to the convention center in downtown tampa riverwalk.

delays but watch out. there are police on scene. let's check out some of the interstates. life from sky 10, the first one is i for of kathleen road and polk county. this is lakeland. you can see westbound lanes haven't picked up yet. the drive time on the i-4 corridor is 15 minutes from polk parkway to 75 in tampa. as we go live in pinellas county, 275 at 54th avenue north. the same thing here. we are at the time wh are picking up at you are not seeing delays yet and it is a good time to get out if you can. the drive time on 275 is 10 minutes from pinellas point drive north to gandy boulevard. hillsborough county, veterans expressway is taking 11 minutes from the suncoast parkway to the tampa airport. you are still in the green. in pasco county, we have a big issue in port richie. i just spotted an update from pasco county sheriff's office. there are now two southbound

next cold front comes through. this morning we are going to stay warm and rapidly heat things up so the earlier you can get the workouts in the better off you will be. before we top out at 87 degrees coming up later on today. a touch of humidity not adding much of a heat index but it may feel warmer than that. we are well above the average temperature of 81. the winds the frontal boundary will bring a cool down as we had to the we can. watch this dip in the jet stream. it will sink to the south. that is responsible for driving in a frontal boundary and that will move through during the early part of friday. that is the best chance for showers coming up this week. we get the nice cooldown coming in behind it. it turned out well for the st. pete food and wine festival especially since this will move

ballots out early. one reason why she will talk about the importance of getting that vote out early and doing so here in this area. the new york times put together a fascinating report that shows democrats tend to benefit from early voting in swing states particularly in the states like florida that could decide the election. we won't know the results of all of those early voting citizens -- decisions until later. clinton and trump are neck to neck in this race to win florida so they will make every effort to win this state. that is clear from all of these last-minute visits. on top of hillary in pasco today. we had governor mike pence yesterday. former president bill clinton will be in st. pete today. and trump will come across tomorrow as it is all on the line.>> i want you to be able to say i voted for a better fairer and stronger america.

would be an -- under protracted criminal investigation likely followed by the trial of a sitting president. >> what else is important to consider is not just how hard clinton and trump are campaigning for florida but for which areas they are pushing the hardest and there is obviously a big focus on our area which is part of the very politically valuable corridor. it is so valuable in fact that new reports suggest it is possible the selection could come down to the i-4 corridor. if you are thinking that your boat does not matter you definitely want to reconsider that and make sure you get into the polls on election day. if you want to skip the process and get your vote in early you can do that through november 1. trump will be making his way back to florida tomorrow. today he will give a speech about obama care in dc and visit ohio.

>> there are 850 sexual offenders and predators who live in tampa. police investigating a driver that led them on a joy ride to austin texas. it was a 12-year-old boy that may have been drunk. this is video of the aftermath on monday. the car ended up crashing into another car head-on and then hit a utility pole but thankfully no one was hurt. police had no idea the driver was just 12 years old when the chase started. >> in the beginning we thought he was maybe somebody texting and then when that driver we thought that maybe the person was impaired.>> that is crazy. the boy is facing charges which could come in time with probation. the story may give you chills. one man recovering in the hospital after he was hurt in a motorcycle crash in tennessee. in the video you are looking at this was really emotional.

this year you will notice the pavilions and the boardwalks have been expanded so more people can get out there to enjoy. the wait is almost over to get a ride across the bay. the ferry service begins on friday but the maiden voyage is a few hours away. leaders will take a ride on the 149 passenger boat and the ferry is beginning a pilot program to see if service -- service should be expanded. it will cost $10 each way. around tampa bay. st. pete is following tempest lead and starting today there will be 100 new bikes at hubs around the city. business owners are hoping this can connect them with the community. we have a map of the first ones. you are looking at the first 10 along the waterfront and central avenue corridor. and second street as well. that is where the cross terminal will be. it would make things easier when it comes to those rush hour times and people are

bridges. we've been staying on top of this. catch the ferry and hop on a bike and go where you need to go. stood -- >> people ask what do you do what you get to the other side of the bay. now you have the option to grab a bike. that tampa program is connected to this. part of one program, you can use the other one. it is part of a bike sharing program. >> this is a trial run. >> well this permanent and today is a soft launch so there are only 100 bikes and 10 stations today but there will be 300 bikes coming in 30 stations. pinellas county did a study and the next city that could get it would be clearwater.>> great trails. it is nice to be out there. i have more information on the 10news app. coming up on services in

i also want to let you know about an accident in sarasota that came through. this is on i-75 through venice near jacaranda boulevard. it may be blocking a northbound lane. i have seen no delays yet but i will keep an eye on it. pasco county, a few issues. the first one is in port richie on us 19. you have a couple of lanes blocked south at fox hollow drive. there is an injury accident here. is a crash on bruce b downs boulevard. this one may have debris. this is north of county line road in wesley chapel. bruce b downs is an slow yet. of your problems, send me an email. i am your road warrior and i will help you with traffic issues. things are quite as you go

looking over from then ways will. no problems or even cloud cover. we have clear skies overnight and it allowed for patchy fog to develop near brooksville and dade city and maybe east of land o' lakes. but so far in the tampa bay area things are quiet with temperatures in the 50s. stormtracker 10 is quiet. nothing going on this morning. just the way we like to see the commute. get the morning workouts in as well although remember the shades because when the sun come there's no cloud cover. it will work in high clouds as we had to the morning which means it temperatures will be climbing and they will be climbing rapidly. we start off in the 60s this morning. again a few thin clouds roll in. these will continue to allow sunshine to work its magic. and warm us up easily later today.

there will be a nice breeze that will take the edge off the heat. we will warm up quickly. here's the breakdown. starting off in the 60s and then by lunch hour flirting with 80 degrees are ready for the bay area. this afternoon we had 85 across much of the area and more cloud cover inland means a little bit lower temperatures but i think everyone safely in the mid-80s later today. and then the temperature start to cool off a little bit overnight. again we have enough humidity in place to not allow for cool overnight temperatures. we start off in the hang out over the next 24 hours. looking ahead to wednesday, we start to pull in more moisture, a little southerly tilt to the wind. it is slight but it will pull in a little bit more moisture so for us that means we will continue to see warmer overnights over the next several days and slightly see rain chances into thursday. this afternoon we look dry and

mid to upper 80s. on friday that is when the front makes its way on through. we look for a 20% coverage of showers. with the tail end of this, it usually means we get a broken line of showers coming through. that is what we see here. many of us won't see anything at all. all of us are going to feel the difference in temperatures as we look ahead to the weekend. overnight lows in the 50s for the bay area and cooler for the nature coast. low 50s with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 both days this weekend. remember this weekend, set the clocks back. an extra hour of sleep co as you had to bet on saturday into sunday. check out our forecast with our newspaper partners. check the forecast in your copy of the -- copy of the tampa bay times. if you are thinking about your thanksgiving meal, you are
