for a controversial decision he made before he even took the field at raymond james. mike evans sat out the national athem to protest president elect donald trump. 10 news reporter sarah hollenbeck is live at raymond james stadium. sarah, this is a story everyone will be talking about at work this morning. absolutely, this story is spreading like wildfire on social media. a lot of you not happy wih evan's decision to sit on the sidelines-- away from his team-- in front of hundreds of military leaders raymond james stadium for their salute to service night. take a look: this is the moment we are talking about. you can see the bucs players, and the bears players all with their hands on their hearts during the national anthem. over on the right hand side, there's evans sitting down..eyes cast to the ground. it's almost hard to see him in the crowd-- but fans noticed and they

says sitting out the national anthem was necessary to get his point across. president-elect donald trump is making his first two key appointments as he continues his transition to the white house. on sunday mister trump officially named republican party chairman reince priebus as his chief of staff while the former head of breitbart news, steve bannon, was named chief strategist and senior counselor. the selections came as the president-elect gave his first post- election broadcast interview to "60 minutes." in the interview with reporter lesley stahl , mr. trump appeared to soften on his campaign pledge to build a wall. president-elect trump also said he would only take one dollar a year as a salary during his presidency and he will not take long vacations. inauguration day is just 66 days away. many of you stopped what you were doing sunday evening to watch president-elect donald trump's first interview. the wide ranging interview touched on everything from

supreme court justice. supporters say they believe mr. trump struck the right tone. hundreds of protestors who are upset at the election results hit the streets of downtown st petersburg, marching and chanting. if you had the chance to look up in the night sky over the weekend, you might have noticed the moon was closer than 10news reporter emerald morrow is live in st. petersburg. emerald, this "supermoon" is the closest the moon has been since 1948. yeah, and it won't be this close again until 2034... so, if you want to get a good glimpse of this're going to have to make the most of tonight...which is the last night of prime viewing time. here's a good

with a second quake of at least 6 point 2 hitting on sunday afternoon. near the epicenter, the ground opened up, leaving fissures in roads and triggered landslides. people talked about the moment the quake hit. people are beign told to go to higher ground and avoid the coastlines since the earthquake triggered several tsunami warnings. an investigation in underway this morning to figure out what caused a car and a bus carrying a college basketball team to crash. it happened on sunday in chino hills, california. authorities said the man driving a volkswagem jetta was speeding right before the crash. the impact of the crash caused both vehicles to burst into flames. the bus had 19 members of the san diego christian college basketball team on board.

escape before the bus was consumed by flames. the driver of the car died in the incident. the next time you fly jet blue, the plane could look a little different. jet blue unveiled this 'retro jet' paint themes on one of its planes. dubbed "what's old is blue again," jet blue says the design is to celebrate the iconic air travel and the company's innovative style. jet blue has only been around since 2000. since the company doesn't have a decades-old retro look, they came up with this design. facebook is of fake news and hoaxes you sometimes see on your feed. c-e-o mark zuckerburg says they are making this change after some critics suggested those fake stories are what influenced the 2016 presidential election. zuckerburg says that is quote, ""extremely unlikely" that those types of stories are what chose the president. in a personal facebook statement, zuckerburg says the company's goal is to show people that they will have the most meaningful and accurate news on their feed. sad news from the music world this morning. legendary rocker, leon

an email from leon russell records says the singer died at his home in nashville. russell got heart bypass surgery in july and his wife says he was still in recovery. a cause of death is still unknown this morning. russell was known for some of his rock-n-roll records from the 70s including tight rope and a song for you. he was 74. a lot of reaction this morning about russell's death from the entertainment world. elton john tweeted out, "my darling leon russell passed away last night. he was a mentor, inspiration & so kind to me. i loved him and always will #leonrussell #rip." drummer for the beatles, ringo starr tweets "god bless leon russell. peace and love to all his family. peace and love." boy band hanson tweeted this from their account, "lost a friend today. the world has lost a genius, #rip #leonrussell #masterofspaceand time." this story is going to put a smile

a school janitor in new hampshire is going the extra mile to bring some joy to kids. ron munsey found a way to connect to the students by doing this. he uses a vaccum cleaner and makes designs on the carpet. sometimes they are logos for sports teams to charlie brown and even the white house. kids say they are excited each morning to see design he makes the night before. the school administration appreciates his efforts too. muns make designs on the living room carpet, so he has to take his creative outlets where he can get them. it seems like people do most of their shopping at the clikc of a button. coming up... we'll talk about some of the products you never thought you could buy online. but first... thanksgiving is just around the corner. we have some tips you need to know about how to
