these temperatures around the bay area this morning. 10news reporter sarah hollenbeck is 10news reporter sarah hollenbeck is live along bayshore blvd in tampa. sarah, you're seeing a lot of people out there bundled up, but this cool weather is great for something a lot of us enjoy. yes, fresh fruits and veggies! while we all shiver a our local farmers are delighted. this chilly air is exactly what they need to have a good crop! while a lot of us watch the weather closely to see if we need to cover our flowers and plants, famers in plant city are alert this morning-- watching their own plants. cool weather is good, especially for strawberries. it helps the berries develop the flavor you want, increases their size and sugar

berry, the better the weather...and mid 40s is just right. we spoke with plant city farmer jim meeks over the weekend who is estatic about this cooler weather. he said if strawberries don't get lower temperatures like this, they're not even worth eating. famers like meeks use a sprinkler system to keep their crops warm, and keep them from freezing....but they won't turn that on until temperatures dip into the low thir. aside from the crops, a lot of you have pretty strong opinions on this weather. some of you absolutely love it....others wishing it was swimsuit weather year round. at 6-- i'm getting your thoughts and talking to folks all bundled up this morning. ian.... new this morning...we're listening to your concerns about a facebook post from

calling inappropriate. 10news reporter emerald morrow is in the newsroom this morning. emerald, the post shows deputies pulling a handcuffed suspect by his dreadlocks to take the picture they posted. right...it wasn't an official mugshot, so some people are asking what was the purpose behind the photo...and wonder was it solely for the purpose of embarrassment. we'll let you decide for yourself. here's a screenshot of the post along with the picture. pasco county officials have already taken the photo down...but not before a lot of you had the chance to weigh in. here's the thing...the man has been charged for some pretty serious crimes. officials say during an attempted traffic stop, he ran a deputy off the road, and was later caught with lots of drugs, including marijuana, mdma and meth. but the problem some of you have is with how the sheriff's office decided to share the story on social media. we blurred out the man's face because of the controversy and because this isn't an official mugshot. joann arthur said: this is humiliating.

per gallon. triple a says depending on where you go, you're likely to see gas prices fall below two bucks! you may want to check your fridge this morning -- because a popular kind of hummus has been recalled. sa-bra is recalling many of its containers of hummus because of possible listeria contamination. here's what you'll want to look for: if your container has a "best before" date anytime between now and january 23rd you want to throw it out immediately! expect the malls and stores to be a little bit busier this holiday season. triple a says income this year, holiday shopping is expected to increase this year. in fact, the national retail federation says they believe 655- point-eight billion dollars will be spent over the next 33 days. so what's everyone shopping for? this might not come as a surprise, but clothes and gift cards top the list as the most popular gifts this year. that's followed by toys, jewelry and books. triple a says floridians will do most of their shopping on cyber monday and black friday this year, then thanksgiving

there's something special for the holidays at disney. it's a new holiday light show at disney springs. you see those lights in the sky...those are drones! according to disney's website, the show, "starbright holidays an intel collaboration" features 300 of them. it's the first of its kind in the u-s. holiday music also plays in the show. there are nightly performances until january 8th. one couple wanted to start their new lives together in a different kind of way. coming up, hundreds of people turned into wedding guests in a moment's notice. coming up on 10 news and c-b-s. starting at 8:00, kevin can wait, followed by man with a plan at 8:30. at 9:00, 2 broke girls. at 9:30, the odd couple. at 10:00, scorpion.
