10news reporter sarah hollenbeck is live in the newsroom. sarah, businesses fought against these changes. yes, they argued paying salary employees overtime could force them to make other changes-- like demoting managers or hiring fewer workers. but this isn't a final ruling: it could be taken up again after the holidays. retail stores fought against the overtime rules the hardest. they argued they've been scrambling to shuffle around their employees. in time for the holiday shopping season. but the big question this morning is: did the judge delay this rule because it was unlawful and could hurt businesses or was there something else to it? it's the fourth time in 21 months that a federal judge in texas has issued a

ride will now be torn down because of what happened. police say caleb's weight, combined with two other people riding with him were in fact in the ride's limit of 400 pounds. a story that has many of your talking on our facebook page this morning. a teacher is sentenced for stalking a student on snapchat. we're hearing parents' frustrations on facebook that 26 year old cory hansen is only sentenced to 5 years probation. the 12 year old girl says her middle school teacher repeatedly stalked r user names... saying she was cute.. asking her if she'd ever kissed anyone and liked older men. she did the right thing - saving several screen shots as evidence and reporting it. snapchatters say you can also block users, turn off your location setting to protect yourself, and only add people who you know. the teacher

possibly even where it might have hit...if it made it that far. in st petersburg, jonathan petramala, 10 news wtsp. have you ever felt like taking a nap after you have thanksgiving dinner? you answer is probably yes. we usually blame that on the turkey. dieticians say that actually carbs are most likely the reason you get sleepy. simple carbs found in stuffing and potatoes will head straight to your blood sugar making you want to go to sleep. many people won't eat all day so they can have one big meal, but that's not always the best idea.

out of philadelphia. a bull escaped from a slaughterhouse on tuesday morning and caused a traffic jam in a busy part of the city. you can see him peeking into car windows as he charged down the roadway. unfortunately, the bull had to be shot and killed by the game commission a couple of hours after it got loose. president obama will continue a white house tradition and turkey of his presidency. --this tradition has been around since 1947 --that's when the chairman of the national turkey federation presented a turkey to the president, who grants a pardon to the bird. --so, only one bird will be named the "national thanksgiving turkey" -- both lucky birds will be sent to their new home at virginia tech. --you can vote on who gets this year's title. --meet: tater and tot! -- who gets this year's title. --meet: tater and

had an inter rescue in fresno california. a cat was stuck on top of a 45-foot
