10news reporter sarah hollenbeck is live in the newsroom. sarah, businesses fought against these changes. yes, they argued paying salary employees overtime could force them to make other changes-- like demoting managers or hiring fewer workers. but this isn't a final ruling: it could be taken up again after the holidays. retail stores fought against the overtime rules the hardest. they argued they've been scrambling to shuffle around their employees. in time for the holiday shopping season. but the big question this morning is: did the judge delay this rule because it was unlawful and could hurt businesses or was there something else to it? it's the fourth time in 21 months that a federal judge in texas has issued a

possibly even where it might have hit...if it made it that far. in st petersburg, jonathan petramala, 10 news wtsp. have you ever felt like taking a nap after you have thanksgiving dinner? you answer is probably yes. we usually blame that on the turkey. dieticians say that actually carbs are most likely the reason you get sleepy. simple carbs found in stuffing and potatoes will head straight to your blood sugar making you want to go to sleep. many people won't eat all day so they can have one big meal, but that's not always the best idea.
