go into tomorrow. as weak boundary works its way over the state. outside right now not bad 79. dew point still very comfortable at 57. making the humidity at 47 percent. currently our winds are out east at 17 miles an hour. at times it has been breezy. as we go through the afternoon, a lot of breezy conditions will start to the subside and will remain mainly that east or northeasterly wind as we go through down in sarasota a bit warmer an 83. bradenton at 80 degrees. downtown st. petersburg. 76. clearwater you're at 75 degrees. up in new port richey and brooksville both sitting at 78 degrees. and generally running either in the upper 70s or low 80s throughout the interior. dew points showing just amount of moisture in the atmosphere. when these numbers are the 50s, it really feels pretty comfortable outside. that's what we've seen over past several days. a little bit higher as you go along the coastline.
mid 60s. still somewhat comfortable outside. so satellite view across the southeast. you're starting to notice more cloud cover. we've had of showers and thunderstorms across northern rim. gulf of mexico stretching back off the coast of texas. this frontal boundary here will slowly work its way on to the east and kind of move some of these clouds and a little bit more unstable air mass over us. so that's where i'm going to see an upparticular and rain chances for but still, this time of the year an uptick we're talking 20 percent chance of a couple showers mainly you're going to see more cloud cover for tomorrow. you're not going to see any cooler temperatures. behind this front there are some cooler temperatures. but we're just not getting that big push. the push any of that weather down over us. watch kind it all play out on future cast. we've got that east and northeasterly flow. we've had breezy conditions throughout the morning hours. starting to kind of lighten up a bit right now. we will see winds running right around ten miles an hour.
but notice that front working its way down across this as we get into tomorrow afternoon. you can see kind of a band of clouds, you see a couple of showers here and there. so that's why wee just talking about the random shower or sprinkle as we go through the day tomorrow. so for today, looks good. partly cloudy action pleasant day daytime high of 82. for tonight a few scattered clouds around a comfortable night with that low temperature of 66 degrees. for tomorrow, yeah you see a little bit more cloud cover. just a couple of daytime high of 78 degrees. on the water, winds are out northeast the 10 knots. seas two feet. light chop on bay gulf temperature sitting 74 degrees. high tide comes up at 9:47 this evening. here's your seven-day forecast, looks good over the next couple of days. jst slight chance of a couple of showers for tomorrow. again as we get into sunday, monday. looks like maybe a little disturbance heading our way give us bit more clouds. again just that slight chance,

i'm hall of famer jerry west and my life is basketball. but that doesn't stop my afib from leaving me at a higher risk of stroke. that'd be devastating. i took warfarin for over 15 years until i learned more about once-daily xarelto... a latest generation blood thinner. then i made the switch. xarelto? significantly lowers the risk of stroke in people with afib not caused by a heart valve problem. it has similar effectiveness to warfarin. warfarin interferes with vitamin k
of your body's natural clotting function. for people with afib currently well managed on warfarin, there is limited information on how xarelto and warfarin compare in reducing the risk of stroke. like all blood thinners, don't stop taking xarelto without talking to your doctor, as this may increase your risk of a blood clot or stroke. while taking you may bruise more easily, and it may take longer for bleeding to stop. xarelto may increase your risk of bleeding if you take certain medicines. xarelto can cause serious, and in rare cases fatal bleeding. unusual bruising or tingling. if you have had spinal anesthesia while on xarelto watch for back pain or any nerve or muscle related signs or symptoms. do not take xarelto if you have an artificial heart valve or abnormal bleeding. tell your doctor before all planned medical or dental procedures. before starting xarelto tell your doctor about any conditions, such as kidney, liver or bleeding problems. to help protect yourself from a stroke, ask your doctor about xarelto. there's more to know.

donate and help in winter haven, charley belcher, fox 13 news. thank you, charley. sue know, election dates always great when the sun is shining. there's no rain. but i can't remember the last day there was lot of rain. yeah. it's been a while. it's been a while. rainy season kind of unofficially ends in september. the end of september. so actually been pretty quiet since then. october, is typically dry month. youea dry month. in fact, we've only had 1.55 inches of rain since october 1st. and last time we actually saw any measurable rain here in tampa was all the way back on october 15th. we picked up a measly two tenths of an inch of rain. and as we go through the day today, it's dry. slight chance of couple of showers for tomorrow. we're not going to really make up any ground with that. maybe a couple sprinkles or light shower. that's just about it.
working its way towards state for tomorrow. mainly just an increase in clouds. now beautiful looking day for today. we're seeing just partly cloudy skies. once again, that east and northeasterly flow across the state. picking up fair weather cumulus clouds. moving them across the state. but as you look at the water vapor imagery a lot of dry air over us over the past say week or so. now we're starting to bring a bit more of the moisture back across the state. we've got this weak boundary which has been kind of pushing that will give us enough uptick in clouds and maybe a few random showers maybe sprinkles for tomorrow. outside right now we're we're a 79. brandon warmed up into the 80s at 82 degrees. plant city has an 82 as well. westchase, you're at 80 degrees along with pinellas park. downtown st. petersburg, currently sitting at 76 degrees. 70s and 80s to our north. dade city wesley chapel land o'lakes all at 80 degrees. weeki wachee new port richey,
degrees. you work your way down into manatee and sarasota. lakewood ranch you're at 84 degrees. sarasota currently at 83. and then throughout interior, temperatures generally running in the upper 70s or lower 80s. now the view across the state partly cloudy skies. as you look a bit further into gulf of mexico. we do have more cloud cover more scattered showers that extends all way back towards texas. weak boundary slicing through the country. that will continue to work its way on to the east. and that means we see an increase in the clouds. but a lot moisture with this kind of fizzle out. as we go through the next 24 hours. so that's why even though we've got more clouds heading our way. we talked about the chance of rain, we're talking about a 20 percent chance of a couple of showers. but there has been some rain extending all the all way into great lakes lot of cloudy weather up there on backside clear skies, cooler temperatures. but there's nothing really to push that cooler air down across the deep south.
what will probably actually see is maybe just a little bit of a drying effect. we actually kind of dry the atmosphere out. that's what we've been seeing with the last several fronts as they come through. we just kind of dry that dew point out a little bit more. and just ends up being beautiful looking weather. but for tomorrow we will see a bit more in the way of some cloud cover across the state. so for today, partly cloudy skies daytime high 82. then for tonight variable cloudy skies. it will be comfortable night. with seven-day forecast, keeps daytime highs sitting in either in upper 70s or low 80s. slight chance of a shower or two for tomorrow. and it looks like again, as we get into sunday and monday of next week, linda. thank you, jim. veterans in local hospital are getting a dose of musical
