think maybe in one was unrelated. in burlington county, new jersey, one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries to his neck after his car hit a pole and he was thrown from the vehicle. police say this happened before 3:00 this morning on bore ris bridge road in shamong. the car hit the pole, slipped over. officers are still try to go figure out what happened. police are investigating a double stabbing in germantown. it happened around 7:30 saturday inside a home on the 5900 block of cheltenham pontifficate avenue. police say two women were the victims, both stabbed several times but remain in stable condition at the hospital. as of this moment, police police don't have a suspect or a weapon. an off-duty police officer has shot and killed a man in the olney section of the city yesterday afternoon. police say the officer intervened when the suspect tried to rob a senior citizen and caught him in the act. lease say about 2:00 crest afternoon were the officer
stumble upon elderlily victim. police say the officer identified himself several times to the suspect. then when the officer confronted the gunman, the thief pointed the weapon at the officer. instead is, prompting the officer to shoot. here's video post to facebook after the incident. the succeed was able to around the corner before collapsing in from a cell phone store where he died. >> kept saying don't move, don't move. screaming, i was trying to call 911. if it was my grandparents, of course i'd want him to be there. >> police have not named the gunman. the robbery victim had minor injuries. the officer is on desk duty while the investigation continues. in dangerous ride in a stolen truck lands a man in jail in delaware. new castle police say at any

to participate in a service you disagree with, and denying services, not renting a hall or providing a cake. is there a line legally there. >> there is a line there legally. you know, when this has been named a religious freedom law. it really is a misnomer. those people that are proponent say it's their first amendment right. you have the right to religious freedom. you don't have to right to discriminate using religion as a basis. we can discriminate against the lgbt community or anybody else we want. that the completely inaccurate and these laws are being challenged every time they've been raised, they've been challenged, both in georgia and virginia. these laws have been veto toed by the governor. we'll have to see. the state you're talking about are mississippi north carolina. both are subject to challenge in
the courts. >> my problem is it's not to what they're trying to do. they're doing right now until the legal challenges can go through. how is this allowed to happen. >> it is happening but there has to be a challenge and the courts are going to have to decide. let motel you something, this happened back in the 1960's. i'm old enough to remember that when there were challenges in courtrooms with regard to interracially marriage. they claimed back in the 1960's some of these same groups claimed the first amendment allowed them to discriminate for people going through interracial marriages. now same sex is marriage puts has caused the same thing to occur and same thing will happen that happened in the 1960's these laws will be struck down. >> you don't think they will
stand. >> i do not at all. you heard about the situation nazi pong. how are third aged students to even drink? forget the symbolism for a minute. in new jersey it's not illegal to drink under age in your own home. >> it's kind of unusual. these laws go state by state. you know we have a national drinking age-21, in new jersey, there is no state law probabilitying consumption of alcohol by minors while on private properties, they go on to say you can only do at his on private property if you're basically monitored by an adult or adults are present. the laws go municipal ty by municipal ty. in new jersey, we have what's call dry towns. that the where municipality stop sign sell liquor at all. so it goes by town by town and

♪ ♪. healthy health news this morning, food allergies are on the rise, traditionally people have been told stay away from toxic foods, but researchers are actually giving children the food they're allergy to a little bit. do you recognize that kid? that's good day staff member do you believe he's the son of? i'll tell you. experts say more exposure to the food helps the child's immune system recognize and tolerate the aller jens rather than react to them.

as a mom i'm always prepared for everything. what it basically said was guys, dad's only have to carry money in their wallet because mom haves everything. they also lacked at preschoolers if their pockets and all they have is string and gum. is that the case? this is my actual purse and i haven't done anything with it. let's peak n yes, i am ready for anything. obviously it's raining outside, should something happen, i'm ready to go. are you hungry? you know what? this is kind of -- i don't think it's warm enough. i don't know, maybe, you can have something to eat. you always need a belt. this looks like i might have prestuffed this? i didn't do it. . i have a daughter and she might need a sock. the question is why is there one sock? obviously, i have some money. i have some eye cream, i'm a mom. i work early in the morning. there's another sock. that's cool. it will match.
this is very good news so far. you know what? did i, mention i have a daughter? i have hor money, mascara. you might want to look cute. you don't know. i always keep an extra pair of contacts and this is something i do all the time. this is a shell. you know what i do with the shell? if i'm waiting in line and my kids are with me or if i need something to talk brow i always say let's remember our great day at the beach or draw a picture at the beach. believe it or not, a shell is a really good thing to have in your purse. bottom line is, the answer is yes, if youer need anything, just find a mom, my friend brought these, i love squinting a lot. the bottom line is, you really just need -- you need some fake eyelashes. the bottom line is if you're a person in need of anything, find a mom and they can help you.

tracking that rain in the seven-day forecast. starts monday and sticks around for awhile. i'll look at that coming up a little bit later. >> thank you dave. police are investigating three armed robberies a separate 7-eleven stores throughout the area. two happened overnight around 2:30 just ten minutes apart. two stores were in the holesberg area. one on 7900 block of frankford avenue and another at bridge and they don't mean streets. officers say the same three men got away with cash in a maroon car. third 7-eleven was robbed some time yesterday. police don't think that that incident was related to the other two. in burlington county new jersey, one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries to his neck after their car hit a pole and they were ejected from the vehicle. police say it happened just before 3:00 this morning on bards bridge road in shamong. the car hit pole and flipped over. officers are investigating what may have caused that accident. philadelphia police are
investigating a double can stabbing of two women in germantown about 7:30 last night inside of a home right here. it's the 5900 block of champlost avenue. police say those two women were stabbed several times but they survived. nightmare in stable condition right now at the hospital. police say they don't have a suspect or a weapon. an off-duty police officer shoots and kills a man in philadelphia's olney neighborhood yesterday afternoon. police say the officer intervened when the suspect tried to rob another man. authorities say it was around 2:00 yesterday afternoon when an officer stumbled on an elderly victim being held up at gunpoint. the officer identified himself several times to the man. when the officer contrasted the suspect. the thief pointed the gun at him prompting the officer to shoot. philadelphia police say an off-duty police officer shot that suspect their broad and chew. we're showing you a little bit of that video.
the man was able to run around the corner before collapsing in front of the cell phone store. then dies. brian heinz says he saw it happened. >> kept saying don't move, whatever. kind of screaming. call 911. if it was my grandparents, of course i'd want them to be there. >> police have not named the suspect. the robbery victim had minor injuries. the officer is now on desk duty pending an investigation. a dangerous ride in a thrown stolen truck lands a man in delaware. new castle say they pulled over that guy, calvin warren on suspicion of driving a stolen car as the officer approached they say he backed into one of their parole vehicles and sped away leading police on a chase and during all of this, police say he drove through lawns, into other vehicles, including two more patrol cars. two officers were hurt in all those collisions. they're out of the hospital. he's facing a whole long list of
charges, including assault. the faculty members at 14 state owned university say they won't strike this year despite ongoing contract negotiations. if there's no progress the association of pennsylvania state college of university faculties voted saturday to take a strike authorization vote during the summer or september. there are 5,500 union members. they're working hard to reach deal. are kid getting enough gym? enough physical activity at our school? what do you believe? >> why experts say only two parts of the country are actually meeting the requirement for physical education. how about this one? pranksters, some of the workers at these fast food restaurant

run that goes through around the art museum and around the schuylkill river. 10,000 runners from 44 state participate each year. focuses on giving back at the local local community. donated $155,000 to the philadelphia community including the school district and the fairmount parks conservative. runners we talked to say it charity aspect is one reason they participate. they enjoy the scenic course along the schuylkill, but this year it's a little bit colder than what they're used to. >> when you go through the city and like the museum steps and everything else, you get this run and run with the gratitude and enjoy the people and the scenery it's beautiful. >> you're like you know, we're -- it's cold. excite excited. >> reporter: it's cold but she's

custody. they say he was the person besides the two suicide bombers in that video. this name a muhammad obridy, and he was picked up on friday during a raid. one of four picked up on saturday. and this morning investigators say the group was planning another attack in france. 32 people were killed and nearly 300 more were hurt when the bombs went offer at the airport and subway station. he is also a suspect in the paris terror attack from november. nasa engineers have declared a mission emergency for the space craft seen here, this is the keppler observatory. which searchs deep space, the space craft went into emergency mode last week. that's the lowest operational mode that it has. keppler was launched in 2009. it's currently millions miles
