228 yards versus nebraska, 260 versus colorado. tonight, 379 washington yards. >> joe: lacoste put it on the ground again, and is back on top of it again. nine yards per carry for uw. >> brady: trending in the wrong direction, and talking about again a defense that is trying to adapt to a new scheme. these guys have different responsibilities and a 4-3 versus a 3-4. >> joe: lacoste again, fourth down. >> brady: the one bright spot, at least in my eyes tonight, has been justin herbert. you watch the way he has played really with the exception of the first pass of the game, he has been really efficient. he has missed some throws down field, but that is expected in your first start versus one of the best defenses in the country. two touchdown passes, he created some plays on his own. he could have a big play right here on fourth down. >> joe: the roar you hear is from the washington fan still here.
and they will roar even louder on a on the turnover on downs as mitchell can't pull it in. they have been waiting a long time to be able to cheer here in eugene, cheater period when these teams made up. on monday, game 3 of the nlds, the cubs and the giants for the mlb postseason continuing on fs1. the cubs took game 11-0, they lead to game 2 5-2 right now, heading to the 90 and wrigley. that game will be from san francisco. the cubs are in the ninth-innin ninth-inning, they are looking to clinch. >> brady: a lot of people hoping the cubs can make it happen this year. they probably are going to have to go through the dodgers, i would assume. >> joe: a 1-0 lead for the dodgers over the nationals. a couple dodger fans on the washington staff, by the way. jonathan smith, the coordinators

ducks. >> joe: it look like psalm wooching had intentions of trying to set chris petersen up for a bath there, and petersen shot him a look that i think will deter him from ever trying again. >> brady: coach petersen is all business. >> joe: let's go down to jenny taft. >> jenny: they didn't just end that 12-game losing streak against oregon, you really demolish it. how rewarding is this performance and doing it again such arrival? >> it feels great to get out of here with a win. coming down to eugene is always hard. we weren't trying to pay attention to that, just come in and play and i thought we did a good job. >> jenny: you are responsible for eight touchdowns tonight, you broke a school record and tied a pac-12 record, how confident are you? >> i feel like i didn't do anything crazy, i just kind of did my thing and didn't try to do too much and went through my reads. >> jenny: you are doing a lot very well and your team remains undefeated, it is now halfway through the year, how far is his team capable of going? >> i don't know, we have to get
better over the bye week and get ready for oregon state. we are not looking ahead and i don't think anybody is going to say anything but anything but by weekend oregon state. >> jenny: congrats on a big one. >> joe: he wasn't going to take the bait, was he? chris petersen would be proud of his response there. back here to eugene to wrap it up in a moment. it told me what other people in the area paid for the truck i want. and because we're a truecar certified dealership, i already know the truck he wants. so we're on the same page before he even gets here. -it's fair. -and it's fast. look good? looks great. this is how car buying was always meant to be. this is truecar. ♪ [ clearing throat ]w turthe new golf alltrack.k.

forcing defenses to be honest, allows one-on-one coverage on the outside, he has the accuracy and the arms to make defenses pay. this is a washington offense hitting on all cylinders. also myles gaskin, almost 200 yards rushing, they really had their pick up what they wanted to do on offense. >> joe: so they have the bye week coming, and then -- >> brady: look when you look at their schedule, utah could be a potential tough game for them, the way that group is playing right now. but look at the rest of the schedule. usc is a team trending upward, they got another win versus colorado, but this is a washington team that i think right now the pac-12 is rooting for them to win out, because that is the best bet to have a team in the college football player. >> joe: all right, that is going to do it. washington blows out stanford one week. they blow out oregon the next week. for more college football, flip over to fs1. arizona and 24 ranked utah going at it right now. that muddled picture in the south, who is going to step
