least six shots and many of these murders. the lets go to the latest on one of the busiest streets in the city, at the busiest spots. allegheny avenue in kensington, a wide street, businesses all over the place, people all over and yes, surveillance cameras all over the place. guy who just turned 30 yesterday is walk ago longal gain which his girlfriend. these guys don't care that she's there, at least they didn't kill her or shoot her but they made sure that they killed her boyfriend firing at least a half dozen shots and point blank in the head. >> now fortunately in the 700 block of east allegheny we found several businesses on both sides of the street that do have private surveillance cameras. police viewed these cameras and at least one of the businesses did record the entire incident. so homicide detectives are on location processing the scene and they will get a copy of the recording.

>> reporter: three monday murders started right past midnight here on rosehill street, another young man, shot six times at least again in the head, just 19 years old. then we will take you to the next scene the one that happened this time yesterday, 7:08 a.m. another young man about 20 years old same thing, shot, point blank again, and fortunately here at cambria another busy corner this could have been worse because there could have been stray bullets and school kid hit. so maybe the advantage of these point blank killings unlike so many others that we have talked about, no stray bullets hit anybody else. but you have to hope, that you two listening to me every take talking about this stuff and all of our viewers out there that hopefully people are not uncomfortably numb to all this violence because you know homicide detectives are on top of all these cases but it is one after the other and people are sick of hearing crime news

how do we measure greatness in america? it's measured by what we do for our children. it's why as president i'll invest in our schools. in college that leads to opportunities... not debt. and an economy where every young american can find a job that let's them start a family of their own. i've spent my life fighting for kids and families. i want our success to be measured by theirs. i'm hillary clinton and i approve this message. wait, what. the cristina scott, that is your cat. >> that is a big cat, gracy. >> good night, gracy.
7:25 am
>> that is a grateful cat. >> wow. >> maybe there are large cats but one of our viewers, miranda, she said she saw evidence, in the winslow township, large cat has been spotted wandering around and people think it is a mountain lion. wild life officials say it the is just a house cat. miranda is weighing in. she says that she sees a picture. hopefully we can pull it up soon. she says. >> wait, is that a savanna cat. >> normal house cat can be the size of the hound tane lion. maybe she's saying it is a savanna cat. >> but i know cat in the video from winslow toss than the have spots though, it is just pure blonde. >> so far away, you cannot see. >> but bob have you ever seen cougars in south jersey, cherry hill mall. >> cherry hill mall. >> yes. >> is that place top dog still there, there are some cougars there. >> we will move on. >> 7:25. more and more stores deciding not to open

7:27 am
macy's is saying we have had a year and a half of declining sales, thinks an opportunity, they open the doors when everybody else is closed it might work out in their favor. others might say hazy's is opened we will open too. >> we will see if that makes a difference. >> probably would. >> do you have own a the cat. >> no, no cats here. >> dogs? >> no, no pets. >> no pets. >> okay. >> she's a baby that is all she need. >> we will see you tomorrow. >> so, day two of the whistle blower trial is what they are calling it in western part of the state against penn state by that guy former coach, we are live in center county. here's the word apparently he will take the stand this his own tea fence. some attorneys don't like that. we will see yes wants to do it. then we will get to jen fred. >> hi jen. >> it is one of my favorite events of the year, yes, it thinks weekend, guys like this, and other guys like

7:33 am
northbound from i-95 up through media swarthmore. we have a campaign event, montgomery county community college former president bill clinton set to speak at 3:00 so expect delays before and after the event over there on the college campus, mike and alex, back over to you. lets get out to western pennsylvania. >> today is day two in the deaf nation suit against penn state the by the man who help convict jerry sandusky of child sex abuse. former assistant football coach mike mcqueary wants four million-dollar in lost wages. >> jeff cole live in bellefonte. hey jeff, good to see you. i keep saying i heard mcqueary will take the stand in his own defense. some attorneys don't like that strategy. >> reporter: he is going up. remember he brings the claim here so he is not defending a criminal charge brought against him and a lot of times defendants won't get up in these situations. this is mcqueary suing penn state to get his reputation back and big money from him.
7:34 am
he will get up on the stan and tell his tails, tell his tail. let me show you pictures here to recap the daze yesterday. mike mcqueary started his day early 7:30 monday pulling up in front of court in his truck to car any boxes of documents. inside court his lawyers painted a picture of their client being defame, retaliated against and then cut loose from his $140,000 a year job with his team. all because he worked with state investigators on the trail of jerry sandusky. it was february of 2001 when he walk into a shower, and saw that sandusky was pressed up against a ten or 12 year-old boy in the the penn state shower. he told joe paterno and penn state administrators but his lawyer said nothing happened. nothing at all. mcqueary says he cannot find work. the his wife has left him. she has taken their child. yesterday, on top of all this his truck was ticketed, out in front of the court here. again, mike mcqueary wants
7:35 am
four held from penn state university. lawyers for penn state says if mcqueary want to put blame he ought to look in the mirror. he is guy that didn't stop the rape. he is guy that didn't intervene when he walk in on that shower situation and those are his responsibilities and it is his fault. this thing will be a very tough trial with very tough words as it proceeds. >> well, jeff cole it is mcqueary's lawyers aren't they saying that the penn state president slandered him. why are they saying that. >> reporter: really interesting. when this whole things breaks in 2011, graham spanier puts out a statement and says he believes his guys, curly the athletic director and gary schultz, vp for finance, will be cleared, that they didn't to anything wrong. that was the basis of saner's statement. well, mcqueary's lawyers say in saying that, he implied that mcqueary lied, but mcqueary said went on was
7:36 am
false. they believe he was slandered. that is the basis of the claim. >> why is temple's coach matt rule, why will he testify. >> that was stunning yesterday. this comes out of the mouth of penn state university's lawyer, who says that matt rhule will testify and why will he testified? he played at penn state. he is coach, successful coach. he is coaching at temple. so mcqueary is claiming that penn state treated him so badly that he hasn't been able to find another job in football? apparently, matt rhule is going to get up and testify that the reason why mcqueary cannot find another job is mcqueary has no national reputation, that he in essence has never coached anywhere but at penn state. so when lost his job with the university he didn't have any contacts or didn't know anybody at any other universities and could not find a job. not because of anything that penn state did. now my understanding that
7:37 am
rhule and mcqueary are friend. they played together. but he will get on the stand apparently in and go with the defense. >> wow. >> today will be really interesting. we will make sure... >> reporter: i don't know, guys, if rhule gets up to day. it will be a little bit of the while before mcqueary gets up and on the stand but he will be here according to his lawyer. >> okay, thanks jeff, we appreciate it. >> great job. >> 7:37. >> he made barely $10,000 since over the last couple years. >> he was making $140,000 a year as a assistant coach. >> do you ever watch price is right. >> who doesn't watch price is right. >> every now and then i do. >> it makes me feel old but sometimes i could. >> why? >> really young audience watch price is right. >> different hosts and stuff.
7:38 am
>> really. >> wayne brady was doing price is right and drew carry. >> no he was doing let's make a tiehl. >> okay. >> drew carey. >> it is drew, with the glasses. >> yes. >> well, the impossible happened i think on the price is right. see rare moment contestant and the host could not believe planned parenthood. i would support legislation in pennsylvania that would ban abortion and i would suggest we have penalties
7:39 am
for doctors who perform them. would you put people in jail for performing abortions? at some point doctors performing abortions i think would be subject to that sort of penalty. dscc is responsible for the content of this advertising.
7:40 am
7:41 am
i have watched price is right quite a bit but the impossible happened yesterday. three contestants, you know, they have spin that giant wheel. >> yeah. >> well, they made history. >> yes. >> all spinning wheel and hitting a dollar, in a three way tie. >> what? >> what. >> yes, watch.
7:42 am
>> go, go, go, go. >> yes. >> fifty for a dollar. >> yes. >> yes. >> yes. >> a three way tie in a dollar. there is a 70. this just might happen. this just might happen. three way tie, three way tie, three way tie. >> yes.
7:43 am
