drive there, ten minute delays out of the gate on the lansdale doylestown line. cool shot of the ben franklin bridge, nice clear sky line in the background market frankford and broad street subway looking good with no reported delays. back over to you. kathleen kane will find out if she's heading to prison. >> former attorney general in the state of pennsylvania learns her punishment for perjury and obstruction. so, lauren she's in montgomery county in front of the courthouse there, hi there lauren. >> reporter: hi mike and alex. she find out probation, prison, either one she will learn at montgomery county courthouse when that judge makes that ruling. her sentence could range from maybe just being on probation or even spending 24 years in prison depending on the judge's ruling. in august jury convicted one term pennsylvania attorney general on all nine of those counts of perjury and obstruction. montgomery county district attorney said kane misused her

authority as an official to advance her sort of personal vendettas. prosecutors called the crimes egregious and they say she should spend time behind bars. this all started as a political feud between she and top prosecutors in her office, when they left office. one of them was frank fina at the trial her aids testified that kane used the campaign consultant to pass along some of the fina's files to a reporter about a corruption case that he didn't charge before he left her office. well then she tried to lie and frame someone else for leak ago this information. her lawyers say her loss of career, loss of her law license and her reputation are enough punishment so they are asking the judge to simply put her on house arrest or even probation, they say she's going through way too much right now and she needs to be home for her two teenage sons because she is also, mike and alex, going through a divorce. >> wow, problem on problem there. we will have have cameras there. this morning there is no word what killed a man and

woman found dead in their south philadelphia home yesterday afternoon. it happened near 11th and johnston streets. police say neighbors became concerned after not seeing the couple for a few days, they also noticed a smell coming from the house. that is when they went to check on them and discover their bodies. both were in their 50's. trying to figure out what happened. this morning dozens of people in south philadelphia are back in their homes after a gas leak forced them out yesterday afternoon. police say 45 homes were evacuated on the 101,100 block of christian street. a contractor was doing work in the the basement of the home when a gas line was hit. peco cut off power to the the neighborhood and pgw, stopped the hours long leak, no one was hurt. that is all that is left of a weed wagon. yeah, it was a truck, that caught fire last night on the delaware memorial bridge. so one of our viewers, snapped this shot. the truck is a total loss as

you can tell there. inside that truck, how about this, 60 to $70,000 worth of marijuana laced candies. the five, well, people in the truck are not injured. the fire marshall is investigating what started the fire in the the first place. american airlines switched out planes from one of its flight from philadelphia to boston after a couple boarded too early yesterday afternoon. american airlines says the door to the plane was opened and the couple, who they don't speak english just walk on and they sat down in their seats. the company says it wasn't a security breach but decided to use a different aircraft quote out of an abundance of caution. >> it seems to me that the door should have been locked, to the jet way and then door of the plane should have been shut. >> don't they have to scan your ticket. >> how is that not a security breach? is that what american airlines is not saying it is not a

north of palm springs, california. that is in southern california. the bus was returning to los angeles after a trip to a casino, investigators say most of the people on board were asleep at the time and may not have been wearing seat belts but the cause of the crash is, of course, under investigation. police are hoping that a data recorder in the wreckage will help them figure out what happened. i didn't realize these tour buses had data recorders. an unlikely hero emerged after a fire rips through a port richmond row home. >> it is a dog. first responders say it was a family dog that saved the owner's life. neighbors woke up early yesterday morning to the sound of this dog barking, and then discovered, thick smoke, and fire in this home on the 3100 block of memphis street. so the woman inside along with their dog and cat the were trapped inside of the burning row home. luckily the dog continued to bark which alerted neighbors

about the fire. >> the fire was active. they went in the the house. they observed the situation. took andy out on the stretcher. we found out dog was laying on top of her protecting her which is a beautiful thing. >> fire fighters ran in the teeth of the flames there. rescue crews say the women is in critical condition with burns over 50 percent of her body, the cat did not make it. well, guess what, ladies, and gentlemen, a prince is expected to be in our area tomorrow after buying the childhood home of grace kelly. >> it is her son who bought the home prince albert of monaco. he confirmed to people magazine that he has in fact bought the home in the east falls neighborhood. prince albert told the magazine that the home was very important to his family and that he plans to visit philadelphia on tuesday, tomorrow, as he decides what to do with the home. he bought it for $754,000.

there is every workday last week was in the 80's and then wow what a shock on saturday when temperatures were in the the 50's and pretty windy. yesterday we recovered nicely but it is still wind toy day and tomorrow in the wake of the cold front and we are going to wake up to the chilliest morning of the season probably on wednesday, and a very frosty start even in the city, it is possible for some frost on your pumpkin and high of 53 degrees. rain possible on thursday, late in the day and then we will recover for the last weekend of october, bob kelly and of course prehalloween which is a week from today. >> get costumes ready to go, get candy lined up. 7:17. an accident here on trooper road at audubon road so we're down to one lane here the right lane as folks work in and out of the route 422, crash north on the 42 freeway, this is right at black horse pike route 168, watch for delays, leaving south jersey toward that route 55 merge.

we are still dealing with the accident and delay on 55, northbound for gang coming up through you glassboro at exit number 48. amtrak switch problems leaving 20 minute delays on septa's paoli thorndale regional rail line against septa which runs the show here. when they have having switch problems their trains goes first everybody else goes second. twenty minute delays on the paoli line and some delays also on amtrak this morning. ten minute delays on the lansdale line. here's your travel times eastbound schuylkill just over half an hour in downtown and almost half an hour southbound on i-95 from wood have tone center city. alex, back over to you. well, how about this new jersey state trooper makes a rescue of a different kind over the weekend. trooper dwayne phillips responded to a house in harmony township and found a deer nearly drowning in the pool. he sprang in the action and grabbed the buck by antlers and pulled it to safety. you can see the deer was just exhausted after the near death experience.

first of all she was quick, nine count all together, two counts of perjury, perjury before a grand jury. that is a no, no. prosecution says she was top law enforcement official in the commonwealth of pennsylvania. being the top law enforcement official she was expect to act in a certain way. she didn't do it. they need to set an example. she betrayed the public trust. she, her conduct what's greening us by lying in front of the grand jury and she has known no remorse. prosecution say for all have those reasons she needs to serve time in jail. defense says she's already resigned as the attorney general. that is created humiliation and embarrassment. everybody knows about this case. she can't go anywhere without being completely humiliated. her law license has been suspended so her earning potential has been significantly diminished. she has had no criminal record. she has two teenage children at home. she's no threat the to the
